CHEERLEADER SERIES - JULIE

Chapter IV

After her prom, her graduation flew by like it was in such a hurry. She spent her summer grooming Chloe as the next head cheerleader. The entire time she spent training her, she knew the squad was in good hands. 

As soon as summer ended, she was already getting ready for college. Her parents were very supportive of her choices and never pushed her to do anything against her will such as choosing a degree she does not agree with.

She chose HRDM, hindi niya maipagkakaila na nagmana siya sa mga magulang when it comes to how she chooses her career. Just like them, she aims to build her own business and the degree will give her so much to learn. She's taking the course at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.

She wants to be both the brains and the braun of the company that she will soon build. Her first year is definitely challenging for her.

"I'm okay Chloe. Yes. I'm settling in now. You have to take care of the squad for me okay?" she was talking to her newfound friend over the phone.

She was standing in front of her classroom nang may biglang bumangga sa kanya.

"Aray! Ano ba!"

Bumungad sa kanya ang nakangiting mukhang hindi niya inaasahan. 

"Hello there Uber girl? It's nice to see you again."

"Hold on, are you a stalker?"

"Me? Stalker? Sumosobra ka na ha. First, you accused me of being a rapist and now I'm a stalker? Walang stalker na gwapo oi!"

"Umaapaw talaga ang self-confidence mo ano? Sobra-sobra."

"Well, I should be confident, syempre gwapo ako eh." ngumisi pa ito habang papasok sa loob ng silid. 

Napatingin ulit siya sa study load niya. Making sure that she was not on the wrong room. 

Unfortunately the same number on the room door can be seen in her study load. She sighed as she too slowly got inside the room. Naghagilap siya ng bakanteng upuan. Pero kung mamalasin ka nga, talagang sa tabi pa ng mokong na yun ang natitirang bakanteng upuan.

Napabuntong-hininga siyang nagtungo sa upuang katabi nito. They were at the very end row of the whole seats. Halos puno ang silid ng mga Freshman. She looked at the man beside her who was now grinning from ear to ear. 

"Ano'ng problema mo?"

"Wala lang I think this is going to be an interesting year."

"You really think so?"

"Of course. Though I still don't know your name, this here is definitely going to make this more interesting."

"Whatever."

Maya-maya lang ay pumasok na ang isang teacher sa loob ng silid. A tall and handsome man came in. He was about ten feet and fully bald. As soon as his things were set on the table, he started calling out the last names of his students. Everyone who is called out, raised their hands. 

"Razon!" 

She was hesitant to raise her hands. She didn't want the guys beside her to have any idea what her name is. The teacher called out her name again. 

"Razon?"

Wala na siyang nagawa kundi ang itaas ang mga kamay. In her peripheral vision he sees how his grin became wider.

"Nabibingi ka na ba? Kanina pa ako tawag ng tawag sa pangalan mo!"

"I'm sorry sir." 

The man beside him chuckled.
