A/N: Hey, guys. Before I begin, I would like to thank you for 100 likes on this story. That's just insane. I never thought my stories, specifically this one, would get so much attention. You have no idea how much I appreciate the support. Anyways, enjoy this new chapter.

There was nothing like having a good time with your friends on the beach. And today was no exception. Today, you were hanging with your friends. Sticks and Amy were watching as the guys were playing a game they called coconut hurl. And after Sonic explained it to you, obviously it sounded stupid, but you also found it fun.

And so, there you were. Watching Knuckles stretch as he prepared for the game, while Tails was narrating, like a sports commentator, using a pinecone on a stick as a makeshift microphone. "It all comes down to this final toss from the young echidna from Angel Island. He'll need a score of 4 to take the championship." Tails said. The red echidna lifted Sonic like he was a battering ram, and then started spinning around.

"Can he do it? Can he score a 4? The crowd is on their feet." Tails said. Amy was tapping her foot, being impatient. "Can you get on with it already?" she asked in an annoyed tone. You simply tapped her with your shoulder. "Calm down, Amy. Let the boys have their fun." you said. She gave you a funny look. She knows how much you love spending time with the boys and their shenanigans.

Finally, Knuckles lets go of Sonic, and the blue hedgehog darted towards the palm tree, the branch slamming into his stomach before bouncing him back towards the ground, landing on his bottom. All that effort, seemingly to be short by 1 coconut. "Denied. 3 coconuts is not quite 4." Tails said. But you weren't quite expecting what happened next. "Look." Sticks said, pointing towards the tree. Sticks, Sonic, Knuckles, Tails and yourself watched as a coconut was loose and about to fall. It was then you realized that a yawning Amy was in the way. "Amy, look out." you said. You pushed her out of the way, and just in time, as your leap caused the coconut to land on your back. Both of you fell over, but Amy looked at you with a smile. "Thanks, (Y/N)." she said.

The 4th coconut secured Knuckles and Sonic's victory. The guys celebrated their win. "THEY'VE DONE IT! They've achieved the impossible. The team of Knuckles and Sonic has bested the team of Sonic and Knuckles." Tails said. Amy was dumbfounded with this. "Wait a minute. You were playing against yourselves?" she asked, hardly believing what she had just heard. "No. Weren't you listening. We beat Sonic and Knuckles. Ha! In your face, Sonic and Knuckles." Knuckles said. You had to admit, although the red echidna wasn't the smartest of the group, he always managed to put a smile on your face with his silliness.

"That looks like fun. Can I play, Sonic?" you asked your blue boyfriend. Sonic walked up to you and put his hands on your shoulders. "Now, babe. I must say I love your enthusiasm. But I have to be the responsible boyfriend and say, you can't play." You sighed in disappointment, but Sonic surprised you (even though it shouldn't have been). "Without protection." he added, as he handed you a helmet and some body armor. "Yes." you cheered, as you strapped yourself in.

But just before you could start playing, you were interrupted. The 6 of you looked up to the sky to see storm clouds approaching. And wouldn't you know it, emerging from the clouds was none other than Doctor Eggman himself, as he flew towards you. "Behold, rodents." he started. You gave him an angry glare that said, "Rude." The doctor noticed and nervously chuckled as he corrected himself. "I mean rodents, and very lovely lady. Prepare to meet the most fearsome, destructive force ever to grace this or any other world." he said, as he gestured to the clouds. But nothing happened. An awkward silence started, with you and your friends just staring confused.

Eggman was understandably embarrassed that his dramatic reveal backfired. "It'll be a minute. Feel free to talk amongst yourselves." he said, as he continued his gesture. But there was just a continuous awkward silence. The rounded doctor was getting more embarrassed with this delay. "Your doom is coming. I assure you." he said. "Nobody said anything." you pointed out, which just added to his nervousness. At this point, it was just getting sad, as Sonic and Knuckles had looks of pity on their faces, and the blue hedgehog crossed his arms.
