Sonic Boom x Human Reader

The Sidekick

It's a nice and sunny day on Bygone Island. On this area of the island, there is nothing but desert as far as the eye could see. In the canyons of the desert, Dr. Eggman is fleeing in his Eggmobile from his enemy, Sonic the Hedgehog.

"You can't lose me, Egghead!" Sonic shouted. Eggman was annoyed with the blue hedgehog's banter. "EggMAN! You know my name is Dr. Eggman. You're doing that on purpose." he shouted. "Doing what, Egghead?" Sonic jokingly asks, continuing to pursue the doctor. Eventually, the chase led to a large cliff, causing Sonic to quickly skid to a stop. Sonic looks up to see Eggman loom over him. "It all ends here, old friend." he says. "Prepare to be destroyed by BurnBot." as he points toward his new robot.

"So what? He's gonna burn me with flamethrowers or something?" Sonic asks. Eggman appears confused towards his enemy's question. "Flamethrowers? No." he said.

"Uh, acid? Incendiary grenades?"

"W-What? N-N-No. The claws. Claws, very painful claws." Eggman stutters in his sentence, as BurnBot opened and closed his claws. Sonic was trying not to laugh at him. "Well you should've called him ClawBot, or The Lacerator, or Pinch-a-Tron 9000. But BurnBot, that's just false advertising." he said. Eggman gets increasingly annoyed with the blue blur. "I name the robots, Sonic. BurnBot, ATTACK!" he yells. The robot chases after Sonic on the spiral course. Sonic, looking amused, just runs away from the bot, further down the spiral.

While this is happening, Tails, Sonic's best friend is looking down at the scene in his plane. "Blue Leader, this is Yellow Sky. I got eyes on Burnbot. He's on the move. Over." Tails tells Sonic through his communicator. "Thanks, Tails. Initiate speeding swing surprise." Sonic replies. Tails flies down the pit, passing Eggman as he spins out of control. He pushes a button on his belt, causing it to light up, along with his right glove. As Burnbot and Sonic reach the bottom of the pit, the two increase their speed, as if things are happening in slow-motion.

In the blink of an eye, Tails flies towards Sonic, throwing down an electro-rope, which Sonic catches. Sonic passes Burnbot, and turns around kicking him into the rocks. He lets go of the rope, and skids to a stop at the bottom of the pit. Eggman flies down to Burnbot. "Get up. Get up. GET UP!!!" he yells at it. The robot gets up, and as it sees Tails' plane above it, he shoots its claws at the plane. It hits the wing, causing the plane to spiral out of control. Tails looks at the damage, his expression showing great concern.

"Bail, Tails. Bail!" Sonic shouts to his friend, with worry in his voice. Tails tries to eject, but the switch breaks off. Tails realizes that he is now in real trouble. Sonic tries to save his friend, but is stopped by Burnbot. The bot shoots its claws at Sonic, who dodges them with ease. Seeing a rock above the robot, he leaps towards it and spin-dashes, causing the rock to fall on the robot. Sonic sees Tails' plane crash. "Tails! No!" he says as it crashes. He runs to see if his friend is okay. Eggman picks up Burnbot and says, "We'll be back, Sonic!" as they fly off into the distance, Eggman complaining about his creation's weight.

Sonic picks up Tails from the wreck. The yellow fox is unconscious, but Sonic can still hear his heartbeat. Sonic breathes a sigh of relief, knowing his friend is alive. "Keep resting, pal. I'll get you home. I promise, I'll never let anything like this happen to you again." he says, as he carries his friend home.

*time skip, transition to a new location*

You were walking on the beach, looking around this new island. You were wearing a (favorite color) T-shirt, blue jeans, black boots and a belt with dual-wielding daggers in the holsters. You just moved here, and was looking for any place where you could get a home. "This place is very beautiful." you said. "This would make a nice new place to call home." You were very curious about the people living here. You did notice a couple of people in a nearby town, and one thing that seemed odd to you is the fact that they appeared to be anthropomorphic; animals with man-like behaviors or qualities.
