Chapter 12

When I got home it was for once just ash home and when he saw my hair he went over the top. In a good way of course, he couldn’t keep his eyes off the rainbow. After an hour of the whole gawking at my hair, he still didn’t even know about my piercing. He never asked me anything also I had no reason to speak so I thought, why not see how long this lasts.

“Rave what do you want for dinner?” Ash called from the kitchen staring blankly into the fridge while I was lying upside down on the couch. My head was halfway to the ground while my feet were over the top of the couch. The TV was on, but the ads were on so I didn’t know what I’m watching. “Raven! What do you want for dinner?!” obviously assuming I didn’t hear him, what a goofball.  I didn’t lift a single muscle from my position as I noticed an upside down ash walking towards me. “Are you deaf or something?” clearly irritated by me, instead I shook my head no.

“What happened? Did I do something wrong, why aren’t you talking to me Rave..?” his voice gentle as he stares down at me with concerned eyes. I can’t help but giggle at his change in moods, so, to answer his questions I pointed towards my mouth and opened it.

At first he just stared at me as if I’ve lost my marbles, which I haven’t because they are on the top shelf of my room in a box behind my old bag… in return though, I roll my eyes at his stupidity and poked my tongue out so the shiny silver metal ball was sticking out. It took another moment before his eyes widened pulling the edges of his lips up with them. Wow… He is such a weirdo… Once again, he had another amazed rant towards me finally getting the piercing I’ve always talked about getting.

Ash left again to come back with some soup for dinner and took a seat next to me. While we were peacefully watching Family Guy I thought heard the front door click, but ignored it thinking it’s from the episode.

“Ash-potato, you home!” there it was… I looked at Ash who was wearing a guilty face, and quickly whispered something to me; “sorry I thought you’d be out late so I invited Lex over and forgot…” Just as he finished Alex entered the room. But as soon as he spotted me, his bubbly grin dropped. Geez talk about a lovely getting… Not to mention this is my home… “Ash, you said she’d be out. That you and I would hand out, nothing about a small rainbow being here…” I rolled my eyes and walked into the kitchen to wash my bowl. I could hear faint mumbles coming from the other room. Deciding to be nice, I’d go to my room and allow them to hang out with me disturbing them. But as I rounded the corner I could make out the mumbling.

“Sorry, I didn’t know. I honestly thought she’d be out with Lucy, I swear” I could tell that was Ash, but yikes! Was me being here that bad..! “I know I know, it just caught me off guard. I just, you know…”
“Yeah I know, but you’ve been fine for the past 4 years. Why is everything changing all of a sudden Lex..?” What? What are they talking about, its killing me! I want to know so badly because now I’m curious and intrigued. “I don’t know… just something happened that I didn’t expect and now I’ve fallen harder… keeping my distance and being the biggest fuckwit might of worked when we were younger but now, now it’s different…” falling harder?! Different?! What in the hell are they going on about! I was about to barge in and demand answers since I did understand I was involved in this in some way. But before I could, it hit me; I heard something I never thought I would. The only proof I knew it was said was because I was on the room when I watched the words leave Alex’s mouth…

“I think I love Raven…”

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooo ALEX SPOKE THE WORDS THAT STOP ANYONES HEART!!

Are they going to end up together or have a tragedy and never be together?
Will there ever be a THEM?
Is Raven going to love Alex?
^Or will hate overcome any feelings..?

Alright, so I know that you can’t do too many things I’m going to make raven do with a new tongue piercing. But just ignore the fact that it hasn’t healed, and just deal with the fact I’m going to magically make it heal so it’s as if she’s had it forever. Don’t like it? Deal with it hun Xd
