Chapter 18

Ray POV

When I saw her in that seat, I couldn't even move. I froze and my breath hitched, how was she so gorgeous. We were and still are childhood friends from years ago, and we've both gone through changes. I'm no longer the dork with the hair that usually was flicked around, glasses that were way too big for me and not to mention I'm much taller then everyone else. Even Raven was taller then me last time we saw each other, and she's the shortest things ever. Out of nowhere my face was coloured red from remembering us at the airport. We almost kissed! I'm not thrilled about that because, 1. That would ruin our friendship 2. She's like a sister to me 3. Because, well... I actually wanted to...

Yes I know, I did. She was just irresistible basically, and it just happened but I'm still thankful we didn't kiss. Plus, I already had someone on my mind... I haven't seen or talked to her in years, but she's the only girl that has NEVER left my head. Can to guess who..? Of course not. Mwahaha. Wait... Did I just, I ask myself I could guess and did I evil laugh in my mind..? Oh god in weird!

"AMELIA!" The sound of Ravens voice screaming pulled me from my thoughts. Curious about the commotion, I got up to walk out of my room and find her.

RAVEN POV

"AMELIA!" I screamed with all my voice. WHERE IS SHE!! I caught a glimpse of her bright hair sway around the hallway and bolted after her, ignoring Ray who just opened his door (which was halfway through the corridor I was running down). "AMELIA! IM GOING GO KILL YOU AND SECRETLY SERVE YOUR CORSE AT THE WEDDING, THE WEDDING YOU WONT BE AT!!" I'm not lying, I'd do it! I spotted her on the other side of the table, she was trapped between the wall and table. I basically lunged at her but only to be stopped by someone grabbing me from behind so I was trapped in a bear hug. Not caring who it was, I started to squirm around, throwing my arms and legs around trying to get out of their grip.

It was no use though, they had a tight grip and I was growing tired of struggling. "Finally. You may be small but geez you've got a lot of fire in you!" Ray chuckled behind me. "Let me go Ray! I'm gonna destroy her!" Once again wriggling around in a desperate attempt to escape. "Not gonna happen pumpkin. What the hell is wrong though, especially at 10pm?" Still not letting me go, he just leant against the countertop behind us, gripping me so I was leaning on him as well. Amelia walked over just in front of us, sitting herself on a chair from the table. "I posted the pictures of you's from the airport on Facebook, that's all" Amelia spoke as if it were nothing. Everyone could see them and instantly assume that we were a couple, one of the photos was when Ray kissed away my tear, which looked like we were kissing because my face was hidden behind my hair.

Ray's body stiffened when she said that, and his eyes widened. "What? No! You didn't, tell me you didn't! What were they?!" Questions flew out of his mouth as Amelia got up showing us 5 pictures from her phone.

1. Ray spinning me around when we were hugging 2. His arms were wrapped around me to prevent me from moving 3. I was giggling at his story of Stella and our faces were so close 4. Ray kissing away the tear that was on my cheek, but from the picture looks like he's pecking me in the lips 5. Us waddling away, Ray hugging me from behind

Ray and I bursted out into a chorus of protests and profanities, but before I could snatch the phone Amelia ran away again locking her door. "Fucking fuckey fuck..." I murmured under my breath. Ray's arms dropped from me and spoke "All my friends are going to see those photos thinking that we're a couple and trust me the won't believe me if I said your not my girlfriend". "The problems mutual. I'll get her back another time though, come" I said grabbing his wrists and making him hug me from behind. His body was now pressed against my back, I slowly led him back down the hallway until I spotted his door that was left open.

I opened his arms so I no longer controlled them and sleepily started to walk to my room. Before I was even a meter away, I felt my wrist being yanked on which caused me to stumble and slam into something hard. I looked up through my long lashes to be met with a smiling Ray who's eyes were barely open. "Ray... Let go and go to bed, you can hardly keep your eyes open " I whispered whilst stifling a yawn. "Fine, I'll go to bed... But slight adjustment though, you're coming with me" before I could even open my mouth to whine in protest I was being dragged into the room, tripping over my feet in the process. I didn't have any fight left in me so I went ahead and hid under the blankets getting comfortable and closing my eyes as if it weren't his bed.

I heard the door click close and the light switch changing position, fluttering my eyes open to reveal the room was illuminated slightly by the lamp out on the street. I rolled over to catch a glimpse of Ray who was pulling his shirt over his head. Even though there wasn't much light, I could still make out that he was indeed well built. My eyes watched him like a hawk as Ray made his way over to the bed and sliding under the covers. I was now face to face with him, before giggling at his childish face. He chucked slightly before snaking his arm around my waist and pulling me closer to him so my head was resting on his chest. "Goodnight Raven..." His breath tickling my ear as I felt my eyelids grow heavy. "Goodnight Ray..." I barely whispered back in a hushed voice.
