The sound of applauding boomed down the valley. Some people I presume are family with the couple, were even crying with tears of joy.
Amelia is now officially Amelia Hood, which indeed had a good ring to it.
At the moment Amelia and David are being congratulated as well as talking to some of their guests.
Mum and dad were near the food table socialising with other people whilst nibbling on biscuits coated in dip. Ray was entertaining a few little kids by somewhat 'dancing' and spinning them around. I had to admit though, it was both funny and adorable as hell! Whenever I see a guy playing with children I melt completely.
The musicians playing the music had a good setup. A few amps, 2x acoustic guitars and some mic stands. Wasn't much but everything was in a pretty good condition and the sound was clear.
The man who was playing the music, finished yet another song. Which was when I realised Ash leaning against the stage starting a conversation with him. Probably about guitars, or which quality amp is best.
Me, I was just slowly walking around aimlessly admiring decorations as I do so. While the crowds of people scatter everywhere, making it hard to see anyone I knew anymore.
I was standing below the flower-infested arch in which Amelia and David had just been married under less then 10mins ago. My feet were glued the end of the carpet directly centred, just staring in awe at the arch. Yellow, blue, pink, purple, white and red flowers sat in the small cracks making it look amazing.
"This next song is actually a requested song. As well as this being a song about being together no matter what in the future for the lovely new married couple, this song is mainly dedicated to a certain person here today..."
The chords to a particularly mellow song started to clearly play through the hidden speakers. I swear I knew the song, but I just couldn't put my finger on it...
"Shes sitting at the table, the hours getting later He was suppose to be here She's sure he would have called She waits a little longer, there's no one in the driveway No ones said they've seen him Why, is something wrong?"
It hit me. Forever and Always. Our song...
The back of my eyes started to sting at the small memories that came flooding into my mind. Replaying like it was a tape. I hung my head slightly just staring at my shoes, drowning all sounds surrounding me into silence.
"Why... Of all songs, why does it have to be this one..." Muttering to no one but myself.
"She looks back to the window Suddenly the phone rings A voice said something's happened That she should come right now Her mind goes to December She thinks of when he asked her He bent down on his knees first And he said"
"Because it's our song..."
"Yeah bu-" My eyes widened fully to the point they were perfect circles. I whipped my body around in a matter of seconds. And right in front of me, inches from my face, was Alex.
A small loveable smile was plastered on his face which made the silver hoop in his lip twitch. Those gorgeous large ocean blue eyes staring back at me, with a new sparkle in them. Soot coloured hair dishevelled and like usual falling in front of his eyes. Cute little button nose and his dimples permanently engraved within his cheeks.
Oh how I missed him altogether... Even his arrogance...
I took in his features in less then a minute as well as him wearing a dark maroon button up flannie, black jeans and his usual shoes.
