Shoto Todoroki's birthday. This year would be different, he thought. This year, he would finally be able to celebrate his birthday. Everyone in his class got a party for their birthday, and Shoto couldn't wait for his. As he walked into class, a small smile on his face, he noticed nothing different. Everyone was at their desks, quietly talking to each other. But it was fine! Maybe they organised the party at a different time!
But that soon changed when almost the last bell rang. Aizawa was ending his lesson, and school was over. Tears pricked in the corners of his eyes. He stood up quickly, and went to the rooftop. He pulled out the smallest cake, and lit the small candle with his finger.
"Happy birthday.." his voice cracked. "To me.." "Happy birthday.. to me.." He blew the candle out. "Happy birthday..dear me.." He stood on the edge of the rooftop, ready to jump. "Happy birthday.. to..me.."
The day, 11 January, was never forgotten. The students found a small cake with a candle blown out. When they looked down from the roof, they saw a figure laying there, slowly bleeding out. Everyone felt so guilty, how could they ever forgotten?
