(Dumbledore's pov)
While the headmaster made his speech, my mind was going through different places. This isn't good. (Y/n) and her friends weren't present in the great hall. Is it possible that she already realizes the situation? Minerva was right. It wasn't the best idea to keep secrets from her because it would reveal itself in the future in ways unimaginable.
Throughout the dinner in the great hall, the girl never showed up. I cannot believe I let her bear with this grief on her own. This will all be a shock to her and I don't know how she would recover from this. As for Lennon...
They did the best they can to give their children a better world to live in. How foolish of me to keep a lot of secrets from his daughter. I had no rights. He had no right to hide this from her. I looked towards the Slytherin table and saw Riddle. It was obvious he wondered where (Y/n) was as well. He was looking around from time to time. I can't imagine the pain she's feeling at this moment.

I waited inside my room with Minerva right beside me. We knew she would be coming at any time, bringing with her either anger or grief. Possibly both.
Even if we were expecting her arrival, it still shocked us when the door bust open and there entered a girl flooding with tears and looking like a mess. She was holding a parchment that was getting scrunched by her right grip. She was furious.
"How dare you?! Out of all the secrets you can keep from me—WHY?!" She shouted in fury. Some students passing by looked towards my room but thankfully, Minerva closed the door. (Y/n) was sobbing and fell on the floor. I tried to help her up but McGonagall stopped me.
"Give her some space." She whispered.
"They were alive." She cried while facing the floor. Her wails filled the room and I'm certain that I wasn't the only one guilty of this. For the first time, I saw tears in Minerva's eyes. I've never seen her like this before. She wasn't the kind of person to show emotions.
"They were alive all this time! WHY WOULD YOU BLOODY KEEP THAT FROM ME?!!" she stood up and showed us the parchment she was holding. (Y/n) was shaking and her grip on the paper making it rip slightly.
"(Y/n), please let me explain the situation—"
"NO! I will not listen to any word you will say! I have had enough!"
"Calm down, (Y/n). This will all make sense if you would just—"
"Nothing makes sense anymore!" She crumpled the paper and threw it at me. "I lost them again! Why did I have to find out about this now that they're gone?!" The girl started pinching herself, leaving red marks on her arm.
"Stop hurting yourself Miss. (L/n)!" Minerva tried helping the young girl but she only pulled away from her grasp.
"This can't possibly be real...I'm dreaming, am I? TELL ME I'M DREAMING!!!"
"You must stop at once, Miss. (L/n)!"
"Let me go!" She tried to pull away but Minerva now had a firmer grip on her to prevent the girl from harming herself. To end this chaos and finally put an end to her questions, I answered them all for it was the only explanation to the problem.
"Your parents risked their lives. They never wanted you and your siblings to be involved in this war. They could have chosen to live a normal life and run away from this mess but instead, they chose to fight alongside us. To give you a better future, to end all the cruel wizards out there. They were brave, (Y/n). They didn't do all of this for themselves. They did it for you and everyone they loved." (Y/n) stopped throwing a fit but stared at me blankly. Her glimmering eyes now turned dull and her face showed no signs of emotion.
