"(Y/n), darling! Breakfast is ready!" My mum called out to me. The sun's light blinded me as if I was unable to open my eyes. Was it possible for me to get up? I didn't want to, honestly.

"Where's your sister, Will? It's too late to be sleeping." She was now outside my door, asking my brother.

"Probably dead."

"I heard that!"               "William (L/n)!"

"Oh—there she is! alive and well!"

"That's so not funny!" His laugh became fainter and fainter as he went downstairs. "We'll be waiting for you (Y/n)." My mum said before making a soft knock on my door. "Yeah, I'll be there in a jiffy." Good heavens, I was too tired to even think straight. Imagine you just came home after a tiring trip and a comfortable bed awaits you. I don't want to throw that sensation away.

Just when I decided to go back to sleep, I smelled bacon. Finally! A worthy opponent! I quickly got out of bed while almost tripping in the process as I made my way towards the door. "Wait for me! I'm coming—"

"Race you!" Isaac ran past me. What's the point? He's much taller than me and much quicker, I have no chance against him. Despite knowing that Isaac already won the race, I didn't stop running until I reached downstairs.

"No one won, I never agreed—" I stopped when I saw that nobody was in the kitchen...there was nothing on the table either, no breakfast, no nothing. "...Hello?" This unnerving feeling covered the whole house as if something bad was about to happen.

"Mum? Isaac?...William?" I walked over to the back of the house and looked around if they were there but there was no sign of them anywhere. Is this some type of prank they're putting up? Well, my mum wasn't the type of person to do that.

"Oi, stop hiding! I want to eat breakfast...If there even is one..." But I swear I smelt bacon earlier. What in Godric's name is happening? "Come on! Don't do this to me early in the morning!"

"...you need to run." It startled me when I heard Isaac's voice behind me. Once I saw him in the open field, staring at the horizon I felt a little annoyed. He was just standing there and somehow refused to turn around or even look at me. "There you are. Where are the others?"

"Run, (Y/n)." I chuckled at his silliness while approaching him, ready to punch his arm or kick his leg.

"Hahaha, alright cut it out."

"Run away while you still can."

"I'm not playing anymore. Let's just eat breakfast."

"You still have time left."

"Ugh, can you please just quit it?" As I was about to place my hand on his shoulder, he turned around to face me, and what I saw...was horrifying. An arrow was impaled to his chest while he looked down on me with lifeless eyes.

She's a lady now, William

"Isaac—"

The little girl is long gone

My hands were shaking in panic as I slowly reached the arrow to remove it. I didn't avert my eyes off the metal rod stabbing him and yet I could feel someone else's eyes on me like I was being watched. "This—this might hurt. Just—" I tugged it out and he instantly disintegrated like ashes falling. Green flames crawled up my arm as I screamed in terror along with the sound of my brothers crying in agony. Flames were surrounding me until there was nothing left on sight other than bright neon fires.
