"Be careful in Quidditch practice, please." Tom held my hand and didn't let go until I pulled back.

"I'll be alright Tom. Have a good lunch and make sure to eat."

"I never miss meals."

"Don't lie to me. I've seen you just sit there and ignore your food."

"So you have been staring at me."
He said smirking at me. I tapped on his cheek and chuckled.

"I have, and it's for the better."
I had missed this bond and I feared that it wouldn't ever come back since we had ignored each other for the past few days. His dark brown eyes stared right into mines while he placed a soft kiss on my hand. I smiled and appreciated the gentleman he was, you rarely find people like him.

"You two second years stop making me feel unfortunate about my love life." We look behind to see the Slytherin captain leaning in the wall with his arms crossed.

"Please make sure she doesn't get hurt in any way."

"Lad, this is Quidditch. You can't avoid that."

"It would be a shame if a captain couldn't ensure the safety of his teammates."

My captain gulped and made an eye roll that not even Bones could achieve. "Fine. I'll protect your little mudblood Princess." He spat out

"It's Muggle-born." Tom calmly told him

"Are you two together?" Tom and I shared looks and tried not to laugh. "We're way too young for that and we're only best friends." I told him. I haven't even realized that Tom had turned quiet not until I saw our captain staring at him.

"I'm not convinced that you two are only best friends but I guess I'll believe it for now." He shrugged before making his way back to the field.

"See you later Tom."
I waved my hand while running across the field and met with my other teammates. "Best of luck with your practice, (Y/n)." He yelled.

When I had seen who my teammates were, two of them glared at me. It was Abraxas and Lestrange and they didn't like the sight of me and the fact that I was in the same team as them. As usual, Abraxas approached me and smirked.

"Didn't think you'd reach this far. I guess the mudblood got lucky." He said, emphasizing the word mudblood.

"Professor McGonagall was the one who put me in the game." I backed up a bit.

"It was out of pity. Don't feel like you're special."

"Malfoy can we just stop fighting?"

"How dare you say my last name! Show some respect."

"Abraxas get back to your line. And please stop picking on the same person over and over again." My team captain came in making a facepalm. Abraxas scoffed and did as he was told while muttering. "Who gave him the rights to tell me what to do?"

"Tom Riddle gave me the rights, so get your arse over there right now, or do I have to sweep you away with my broom?"
Malfoy stiffened and ran towards his spot. My teammates chuckled and murmured only to stop when the captain blew on a whistle.

"All of you better listen because I'm not repeating a word I'm going to say. We have four new members to replace the other ones who quit. Pipsqueaks introduce yourselves to us please!" Three of the Slytherin bullies stepped in front and I followed from behind.

"I'm Abraxas Malfoy and these two are Avery and Lestrange."
They all looked at me making me look stupid. "I-I'm (Y/n) (L/n). Nice to meet you all."
