It was dark outside the Orphanage but Eli and I knew Lumos. Marin sent me a letter saying she'll pick me up at eight pm, didn't know where we were going or what for but I brought Eli with me. I wanted him to meet my friends so I thought this was a good time.

"So, who's this Griffin you were telling me about?" He asked me.

"She's a friend of mine. I'm sure you'll love her." We slowly exited the orphanage and quietly closed the metal gate. The atmosphere was frigid and the snow covered almost all the plants around.

"Are you cold? I can give you my coat if you'd like?" He offered me but I politely declined.

"No, I'm alright. Something's been bothering me though."

"What is it?"

"What will happen if your sister finds out you left without telling her?" He thought for a moment but shrugged it off.

"She'll possibly freak out. She wouldn't have allowed me if I told her anyway."

"Don't worry. I'll make sure we return tomorrow, early in the morning." Eli nodded and then two headlights appeared from afar, up in the sky. Eli and I backed up.

"What in Godric's name?—" I heard him mutter. The lights became closer and closer making us prepare our wands just in case.

We soon heard a car horn so we quickly darted to the side of the road. It was a bloody car! It stopped in front of us while the door opened. Marin came out of the car and greeted us with a wide smile "Hey, girl. C'mon, hop in!"

We went inside a car to see a bigger space. It had couches, a kitchen, a dining room, a piano, and Senan who looked like a ghost.

"Marin, what is this place?" I asked.

"My car. Oh, and take a seat." She had a car? I didn't know she had one. Eli and I took a seat and across us sat Senan, he was shaking and was holding a cup of tea.

"Who's that? What happened to him?"
Eli whispered to me.

"That's Senan—"

"I almost got r-run over by a f-flying car." Eli and I looked uncomfortable just by seeing his state. This wasn't a good timing to introduce them to each other. Marin hopped on the couch beside Senan and placed her legs on the table.

"If you weren't standing in the middle of the road you wouldn't have ended up like this."

"It all happened too fast!"

"Remember, always look left and right before crossing the road."

"I didn't cross, my house was just at the end of that road!"

"Excuse me but who's driving the car?" Eli asked making them turn their heads towards him. "My butler is driving the car. What's your name?"

"My name's Elliott but you can call me Eli."

"Marin you never told us any of this."
She scratched her head while Senan rolled his eyes at her.

"Well, I didn't need to tell you anything—"

"Bloody hell Marin. We're your friends!"

"Senan's right."

"I thought you might have taken the hint when I told you about my mom freaking out about my hair."

"No Marin. We didn't." Senan told her harshly. Before the three of us could continue fighting, Eli cleared his throat. We sighed and leaned back on the couch.

"Won't your parents realize their car is missing?" I asked Marin

"No, this is my car."

"Holy Moly."
