Four years before the events of My Hero Academia...

Y/N checked her phone as she stood in the lobby waiting for her boss. He was late. Whenever it came to Daichi he was always on time and he was always pissed whenever he wasn't. The doors from the outside opened as the boss and his small entourage walked in.

Daichi stood taller than his bodyguards at a staggering 6'5" with a muscular build. He had his dark hair pulled into a small ponytail. His olive skin brought out his ice-blue eyes. The old scars that arched across his chiseled face gave a cold look to him. Her boss was menacing, to say the least. Y/N often wondered why he needed bodyguards at all.

"Evening, boss." Y/N smiled playfully.

"Hey kid," Daichi grumbled as he looked at her. He nodded to signal her to come with him.

She quickly walked to his side, unalarmed by his heavy presence.

"Negotiations didn't go well?" She started.

"Smooth sailing actually. Then a brat tried to rob me in broad daylight." He gritted his teeth on the last part.

The Boss was a forgiving man. But if anyone wanted to find the quickest way to the gates of heaven. Stealing from him was one of them.

"Ouch, what'd you do with him?" She asked.

"I brought him with me," He said plainly.

"You what?"

"Well, if you looked like him, you'd be picking pockets too."

Y/N eyes narrowed. She knew the exact reason why he brought him. She also knew what he was going to ask next.

He sighed regrettably. Despite her small size, she was quite scary whenever she got angry.

"I want you to talk to the kid. Make him see the light and join us." He trusted her when it came to newbies, he scared most people off especially in delicate situations like those.

"Meet me in my office after you're through." He finished. Daichi walked into the elevator with the rest of his men.

Why am I always stuck with recruiting? She sighed.

She got off the elevator on the 17th floor of the building, headed down the long corridor, and into the interrogation room. An empty chair was in front of Y/N. Across the table was a man tied up in a chair with black hair and turquoise eyes glowing brilliantly in the dark.
