Gore Warning! And bring a flashlight if you can because this chapter is about to get DARK (literally and figuratively).

Y/N gasped for air once she woke back up. The dust in her lungs forced her into a painful coughing fit. Everything hurt like hell. The coughing hadn't made her broken ribs feel any better. Her head still felt like it was going to turn itself inside out. But she was still alive.

Y/N stared at the black void above her. As she thought about the fall, there was no way she could've survived a straight fall to the bottom. Something must've broken her fall. Now she needed to find a way out.

Y/N tried to get up before as a horrible pain shot up from her leg. The pain took all the air out of her lungs.Y/N couldn't see anything but she knew something horribly wrong with her leg. She guided her hand halfway down her shin until she met something protruding out of her leg. She felt sick as soon as she realized that it was her shin bone. She could imagine the rest of her leg as a lump of meat.

Her hand came back covered with a warm liquid. She bit her knuckle as she tried to hold the terrible cry building in the back of her throat. Tears wettened her scraped-up knuckles, a muffled cry escaped through clenched teeth. She needed help. One face was all she could think about.

"Dabi!" She cried out.

There was no answer.

"Dabi!" she cried again.

Y/N called out for Dabi one last time. But an echo was her only answer. Maybe he thought she was dead. It was probably for the better. Now she had to figure a way out for herself or die trying.

Y/N crawled down the pile of rubble as gently as possible. She felt around with her hands to find a crack to crawl through. After some time she finally did. She almost fell through due to the steepness of the rubble. She held her breath as she pulled herself through the tight space. She fell out the other side onto the floor. Y/N bit her tongue as she held back another scream. The tumble gave her a harsh reminder of known injuries and ones she didn't know.

Y/N looked around and saw she was in an underground parking garage. Well, on the bright side she didn't have to walk all the way down to get to the first floor. But the mafia was already in the building. She couldn't just crawl out of the door. Maybe she could wait them out. That's if she lived long enough.

She didn't know what to do anymore. She knew she was good as dead if she didn't get help. Which reminded her of what Dabi told her on the street. How he could count on her in a fight. She never had to count on someone because she was invulnerable. But now she was vulnerable. It was hard to admit that she needed help. But she wasn't foolish enough to try and escape by herself. Her best chance was to wait for Dabi and hope that her blind faith doesn't falter. Y/N sat up against the wall, focused on her breathing, and prayed that Dabi meant what he said.

"Please, don't let me down." She quietly whispered.

Time passed on for what felt like an hour to Y/N. Her head lulled as she succumbed to the fatigue. Whether the reason was death or slumber she could not tell.

A door opened to the level she was on. Her head snapped up as she heard the rusting door creak after she heard footsteps.Y/N's heart jumped in joy. He came back for her after all.

"Dabi." the echo carried her weak voice across the floor.

Y/N waited for his echo to answer. But it wasn't him.

"Surprise, Y/N" Kazue's haughty remark came back to her.

A wave of dread swept over her. In the darkness, she could see three shadows coming closer.

Y/N got up to run for cover. For a brief moment, she forgot about her leg. She stumbled but made up for it dragging her useless limb behind her.

Y/N Instinctively ducked when she heard a gun go off. Even though she didn't have her quirk, she wasn't completely defenseless. She clutched her side with one hand while she pulled out her gun with the other.

She never was a crack shot like Daichi, but she could hit her targets with the distance between them. Y/N took aim and fired. The gunshot echoed, it was quickly followed by someone's cry of pain, but it wasn't Kazue's. She went behind an abandoned car for cover.

She swallowed another breath to calm herself before she peeked over the rear bumper. One shadow stayed at its previous spot while the other was still heading towards her fast. Y/N shot the figure without a moment of hesitation. It still hadn't stopped it from coming. She had no time to run so she went under the car instead. She tried to crawl away to the next car but a leathery hand grabbed her leg.

Y/N held onto her gun as she was dragged out from underneath the car. She turned over and emptied the gun into what she assumed was the perpetrator's face. She kept pulling the trigger until she heard an empty click. There was long silence with no motion. Y/N she assumed got the job done until the perpetrator's grip strengthened and pulled her close to its face.

With her panic-stricken eyes, she was staring straight into the face of a mutant. He looked mostly like a rhino with the faint characteristics of a human. He let a beastly growl before throwing Y/N over his head and slamming her on the ground.

The impact knocked the wind out of her and moved more of her fractured ribs. Now she was gasping for air as Kazue stood over her.

"Be nice Rhino Head, we wouldn't want her to pass out." Kazue flicked on his lighter and lit the cigarette in his mouth.

"Now-" Kazue kicked her in the stomach and caused her to turn over on her side. "-You can return what belongs to me."

Kazue snatched the black box from Y/N's back pocket. He had undone the latch and looked inside. Just like Y/N did, he stared at what was in the box for a long time. He scoffed at the silver locket before he tossed the box aside. He kicked Y/N in the stomach much harder that time.

"You sneaky bitch." He sneered.

He dug his heel into her fractured ribs so she let out a blood-curdling scream. Kazue stifled his laughter as he pushed the heel of this shoe even deeper. He waited so long for this. Ever since the day he met her, he wanted her dead.

She hated the way smiled down on her. Y/N knew he had a twisted idea of fun But it was nowhere near her predictions. She struggled to get his foot off her. Kazue only laughed. Her useless fighting made him enjoy her suffering even more.

Kazue stomped and kicked her repeatedly without an end. He did anything to beat the life out of her. And it was working, she was human after all. Humans made mistakes. She made the mistake of not keeping a close eye on Kazue. She made the mistake of not being there to protect Daichi. She made the mistake of thinking Dabi would actually come back for her.

She looked at the black box. She remembered her last words to him were that of a snobby teenager. Tears wettened her bloody face. She was sorry that she never showed that she cared about Daichi. Because she loved him as her father just as much he loved her as his daughter

Y/N slowly crawled to the silver locket on the floor as she coughed up blood. The fine chain quickly tangled around her hand. Kazue looked at her in disgust. He decided playtime was over.

"I might as well send you back to hell with a parting gift." He said.

Kazue pulled out his gun and pulled the hammer back, "Tell my brother I said hello."

She looked down the barrel of Kazue's gun and accepted her fate. Y/N closed her eyes as the world faded to black. Then finally, nothing.
