"Do they think we are the enemy...?" Said Kakashi as he saw them getting prepared to fight.

"We are from Konoha!" Yelled Aito.

Daiji's eyes widen in relief while Emiko relaxed knowing they are not alone anymore.

'Finally....it's over.' Daiji sighed, his heart aching as he knew what he had lost in the process.

Daiji then saw a figure on Kakashi's back as his eyes widen, 'It's-'

"ERIN!" Daiji yelled as tears formed in his eyes. There were no words to describe the way it felt to see that little girl.

Daiji bolted towards Kakashi.

He panted as all he wanted to do was hold her.

Erin recognized Daiji's voice making her snap her head up. She immediately jumped from Kakashi's back with wide eyes.

Kakashi flinched as he felt her leave his hold but saw her run towards Daiji.

"Uncle Daiji!" She yelled with tears in her eyes as she ran to him. She was so happy to hear a familiar voice.

He too, was now crying.

She jumped at him and he picked her up, he hugged her so tightly, not wanting to let her go.

He was so happy to see her alive and happy to see Koda and Arsida's daughter, she resembled them a lot, and to see her alive made him feel as if a part of them was alive as well.

They finally let each other go, she was still in his arms, "Uncle Daiji! Where are mom and dad?" She asked with a huge smile.

He saw the necklace that was around her neck.

His smile faded and tears firmed in his eyes as he didn't even know how to tell the girl.

"Uncle Daiji...? Why are you crying?" Her smile dropped as she noticed the tears which rolled down his cheeks.

Erin looked around confused, but her eyes landed on a body a little far to her right

She narrowed her eyes but then they widened in happiness, "It's Dad!" She yelled with a huge smile, finally seeing the man she had been missing.

"Erin no-" Daiji attempted to stop her but she ran away from him toward Koda's body.

Aito, Kakashi, Emiko, and Daiji looked at her with wide eyes not knowing what to do.

"Dad!" She smiled widely as she got closer and closer, feeling her heart relax.

Erin kneeled down next to him, "Dad!" She shook his body, but he didn't budge.

her smile still on her face, "Dad come on!! I'm here!" She yelled louder.

Daiji ran up to Erin and reached out to touch her but flinched as she kept on shaling his body not understanding he was long gone.

"Erin..." Daiji called as he laid a hand on her shoulder.

"Dad come on." She said less confidently as her smile slowly started to fade.

Daiji bit his lip as he fought back his tears once again, "Come on Erin." He whispered. It is almost like a beg

But Erin ignored his calls, "Dad?" Erin whispered as now tears of sadness fell, "Dad? Dad?" She kept shaking his lifeless body.

Daiji was now behind her, "Stop-" he tried saying, he couldn't let her keep believing he was alive.

"Why isn't he waking up?!" She snapped her head in Daiji's direction, yelling.
