Panic rushed through Erin's veins as she realises she had to be brave and make sure the mission doesn't fail."Where are Seiko and Kai?" Erin whispered as she looked around in the dark.
The stars and the moon lit up the dark sky, not being as dark anymore.
"I'm sure they're fine, they are brave and smart ninjas." Riku reassured her as he made sure to stay close to Kiyoshi and Erin.
"Riku." Erin spoke in a low tone, "I got this." She gave him a reassuring look, Riku nodded and teleported to the scared Advisor and the alert guard who stood a bit further from them.
Riku trusted Erin and her decisions. It may seem foolish but it isn't, he knew she was strong and can handle things on her own, that was his job as a teacher, to train her to do that.
"Stay close to me." Erin whispered as she pulled out a kunai knife and stood in front of Kiyoshi.
He nodded in return, letting himself be guarded by her. Trusting her.
Riku stood in a fighting stance, guarding the two men, "Where is Kiyoshi?" The advisor whispered worriedly.
"He is just fine." Riku whispered back, looking around waiting for the enemy.
Rustling was heard making Erin and Riku even more alert than they already were.
"I see there is no use in hiding anymore." Suddenly a woman spoke, she jumped down landing on her feet, she looked up with a smirk, her bright red hair flying all around her, piercing yellow eyes, she wore a right black dress that reached her thighs, a bit revealing. Her black sword was visible as it hung on her back.
Erin tightened her grip on her kunai knife, glaring at the woman.
"We know there are more." Riku spoke in a low tone as he looked at the woman, "No need to hide them."
The woman chuckled evilly as she flipped her hair over her shoulder, "Very well then." She clicked her fingers and suddenly four men appeared.
The guard shivered, "I know her." He whispered causing Riku to listen, "She tried to attack us a while back, her name is Yua."
She cleared her throat, "I will make it simple," Yua took a step closer to everyone, "Hand the boy over and there will be no trouble."
Erin glanced back at Kiyoshi who looked back into her eyes, she saw a glint of fear which made her want to protect him even more, "No." She simply said in her cold icy tone as she glared at the woman.
The redhead rose a brow as she glanced over at Erin, "No? Well, aren't you a foolish little girl." She took a few steps towards Erin with an unmerciful smirk.
Erin clenched her jaw, not liking that cocky tone, "You are the foolish one if you think i will let you touch him." She growled.
Kiyoshi almost shivered as he heard Erin's voice, but a glint of warmth in his heart was felt as he watched her back, knowing someone was defending him.
"Erin." Riku called as he kept his eyes on the four men, hinting she should stop talking, he was scared she was going to say the wrong thing.
"We are not letting the boy go." Riku repeated himself, making the woman turn to him. As she did, Erin tried coming up with a plan, she looked around and her eyes scanned the woods.
Suddenly Kai and Seiko emerged from the woods, making everyone look at them.
They jumped onto the four men holding kunai knives, causing the woman's eyes to widen.
Kai kicked one man attempting to make him stumble to get an edge, but another one caught him.
Seiko ran towards one and swung her fist, colliding with his face, but before she could continue, she was caught by one of the ninjas.
