Eyes fluttered open revealing green eyes that scanned the room.Erin sighed as she sat up, the room was brightly lit up as the sun shined through the window.
She still wore her pajamas as she walked out of her room, "Good morning." Erin mumbled as she walked out of the hallway.
Daiji was in the kitchen already making breakfast, "Good morning, kid." He gave her a warm smile.
Erin smiled back and walked toward him, "Do you need any help?" She asked as she leaned on the counter next to him.
"No," He ruffled her hair, "Go ahead and sit down." Daiji went back to cutting up some vegetables.
Erin nodded and sat down, she yawned as she was a little tired.
"By the way, I need your help." Daiji spoke making Erin turn towards him.
"Sure, anything." She replied wondering what he must want.
Daiji picked two plates, "I need you to go run a few errands." He placed the plates on the table and sat down.
Erin nodded, "Sure, you got a list?" She asked as she began to eat.
Daiji nodded, "It's on the counter." He spoke before taking a bite.
Erin nodded with a smile, "Alright." After everything that Daiji had done for her, it was the least she could do.
She always looked up to him and was willing to help with what she could to make things easier for him.
"You got any plans today?" Erin asked.
Daiji thought for a moment, "Well I'm going to a meeting, but besides that, i don't." He said.
Erin glanced at him confused as she took a bite, "A meeting? Why?" She asked.
Daiji shrugged, "I'm not sure." He said honestly said.
"Oh, okay." Erin went back to eating and so did Daiji.
But sue couldn't help but wonder what was going on since he had been going to a lot of meetings ever since she came back.
"Thank you for the food." Erin sighed and got up.
Daiji gave her a small smile, "I'll clean up, you go and run some errands." He said as he picked up the plates and placed them in the sink.
"Sounds good!" Erin got up with a smile and rushed to her room to get ready.
She wore a simple tight dark purple belly button shirt with the same colored shorts that had a purple skirt over it, a slit on her thigh.
Erin sighed as she ran a hand through her brown hair, 'I'm sure ill run into people I know today...' She walked out of her room.
Erin was happy to be back, but the whole idea of seeing everyone again, and answering the same questions made her uncomfortable.
She walked back to the kitchen and picked up the list on the counter, "Anything else before I go?" Erin asked as she eyes it.
Daiji shook his head as he put away the last dishes, "No, thanks." He smiled.
Erin returned a small one, "Okay then, ill get going." She walked off to put on her ninja boots and walked out the door as Daiji yelled a 'goodbye'.
She sighed, "Number one: Dry cleaning..." Erin mumbled as she walked toward her destination.
It has been a little calm around the village and her life as a ninja, but she knew well that this is just a short break before it's all back to normal.
But she might as well enjoy it while it lasts.
