"Go on."

Erin looked up at her mother, shaking her head.

"Erin, you won't know unless you try..." Arsida smiled as she gently pushed Erin towards the front door of their home.

Koda walked up to the two, "Those kids," He crouched down next to her, "Are just like you." He tapped her nose.

Erin giggled, "Ok Dad." She gave him a half-smile.

She walked out the door and around the village.

Erin was never the social type back at the sand, not because she couldn't make friends.

But as a kid, she witness the way the villagers treated her clan. Seeing those things made her believe they were inferior, not worthy to even socialize.

'None seem interested to play...' Erin walked around their small neighborhood.

The kids ran around and played with the sand, but none seemed to acknowledge her existence.

"No..." A plea made her ears perk up. She walked past a thin pathway between houses.

"Look at it!" A kid laughed.

Erin halted and glanced to her side, her eyes widen a little as she witnessed a scene unfold.

Three kids cornered a boy with red hair who seemed to be holding some sort of teddy bear.

Erin figured they were playing a little game, so she smiled and walked toward them.

But as she neared she saw the small tears on the kid's face as the rest laughed, and her smile faded.

"Hey..." She walked up to them, "What are you doing?"

The kids turned around, Erin's eyes widened as they seemed to be older than her.

"Huh? Who the hell are you!" A boy aggressively glared at her.

"Erin." She mumbled, "Erin Tamaya." She scratched her neck.

The boy rose a brow, "Is that so?"

His friend, another boy, walked up to her, "I guess we got lucky and caught two freaks!" He laughed.

Erin looked at them confused, but her eyes averted to the boy with the red hair who was already looking at her with even more confusion.

As their eyes locked there was an unknown feeling that she felt at the time.

Suddenly Erin felt herself being lifted, her eyes snapped towards a boy who grabbed the collar of her shirt.

"Do you think you can ignore me when I'm talking to you!" He spat.

"I didn't-"

He roughly threw her to the ground, "Shut it!"

"God we gave an infestation, with people who don't belong here." A girl walked up to her with a wicked grin.
