"This is it then..." Erin mumbled as she, Seiko, and Kai exited the Hokage's building.

Seiko nodded, "I guess so." She sighed as she glanced at Kai and Erin.

Kai shrugged, "Well, I guess we should take this day to get ready, right?" He scratched his neck.

Erin and Seiko nodded in return. No one really knew how to process it all. They were scared to say the wrong thing not wanting to make it harder.

But they knew they would be together. That was what mattered.

"From tomorrow," Kai stretched, "We will be stuck together for three years." He grinned.

Erin chuckled, "I will get tired of both of you in a second." She rolled her eyes.

Seiko chuckled, "Three years is far too long." She sighed, "We will be eight-teen when we come back..."

"A lot is going to change when we come back," Erin nodded, but less nervous, "I wonder what things are going to be like."

Kai looked at the two knew they were a bit nervous, "We will face everything together when we return." He reassured.

Erin nodded and looked up at him with a smile, "Yes, we will." She nodded.

"Well," Seiko ran a hand through her long jet black hair, "We all know the plan right?" She sighed.

Kai nodded, "Yeah, tomorrow at 7:00." He mentioned with a sigh.

Erin nodded, "See you guys then." She gave them a small smile making Kai and Seiko smile back.

"I guess I'll be going then." Seiko stated facing Kai, "Kai, are coming along?" She asked with a smile.

Kai cleared his throat, "I was actually going to walk with Erin, see you tomorrow." He gave her a small smile.

"Oh," Seiko's smile dropped. Erin watched as she saw an emotion she couldn't quite understand, it was different.

Seiko cleared her throat, "See you both tomorrow." She smiled at them and walked off.

Erin sighed and looked over Kai, "What is it?" She gave him a smirk.

Kai turned around with a shrug and began walking, "Why do i need a reason to walk with you." He replied.

Erin caught up and stuffed her hands into her pockets, "You simply can't get enough of me, can you." She teased.

Kai raised his brow with a sly grin, "Oh yeah?" He liked the fact that she was easygoing.

"I figured it was my turn to say it." Erin chuckled, "You are always such a tease." She shook her head.

Kai placed one of his hands into his pocket, "Am not." He chuckled.

"Ever since we met, you were always trying to piss me off." Erin narrowed her eyes at the boy.

Kai scoffed, "God...that was so long ago." He chuckled.

Erin stopped laughing and sighed, "Yeah, it truly was." She agreed.

"You know," Kai glanced at Erin, "I think I still have a bruise somewhere." He added.

Erin burst into laughter, "You idiot! It was like eight years ago." She nudged him, "Plus, you were the one who ran into me."

Kai glared at Erin, "You were the one who wasn't looking around." He argued.

Erin chuckled, "Until this day, we still argue about that huh?"

Kai nodded with a grin, "Yeah." He said, "And for the next three years..."
