"Erin, we need to talk..." said Daiji as he closed the front door. He was nervous mainly because
He wasn't sure if she had already processed the death of her parents, but he believes it will help her to.
She looked at him with questioning eyes.
Daiji sighed, "Come let's talk over here..." he said as he walked over to the couch.
They both sat down looking at eachother.
"Erin, do you remember what happened?" Asked Daiji.
He thought she may have suppressed the memories or maybe she just doesn't want to remember.
Erin looked away. The cold wind blew into the house from the open pourch. Feeling the old memories flood back. She then nodded, "i do."
Daiji put a hand on her sholder, "Erin." She looked up at him.
He looked in her eyes, he no longer saw the sparkling, determent, happy, passionate eyes. But instead he saw complete emptiness.
"We are going to say goodbye, once and for all." Daiji said as he squeesed her shoulder.
Erin looked at him, then down at the floor. She was trying to forget what had happened back at the cave, at the battle field...all of it.
And now that Daiji brought it up it's like she forgot how to breath again.
Tears slowly fell to the floor, and creating small puddles of tears, she tightned her fists that were on her thighs.
Daiji's eyes widened for a second, then, he reached out and pulled her into a hug.
She squeezed his shirt and cried into it, soaking it with her tears of pain.
Daiji rested his chin on her head and closed his eyes, tears formed in his eyes as well, he did not let them fall, he needed to be strong for her, fot them, for him.
They stayed in each other's embrace for a while, they needed to, they wanted to.
Everything is so fragile and can break at any moment, and also thats how humans are, one thing happenes and breaks us and we change.
They eventually pulled away. Daiji still held onto her shoulder's. She looked at him, no words were needed.
"You should get some rest for tonight, lets get your new room cleaned up and you can go to sleep." Daiji said softly.
Erin nodded, they both got up and took the cleaning supplies and went up the small staircase into Daiji's room.
The second Daiji set a foot in, memories flooded in yet again.
"Well, lets get it cleaned up." He said as he walked into the room.
Erin nodded and followed Daiji, she set the cleaning supplies down.
They got to work, Daiji vacumed while Erin whiped the desk and the closet.
After about an hour the room was just like before.
Daiji cleared out the cleaning supplies from the room, he walked back in and sighed as he saw Erin sitting on the bed looking around.
He walked over and sat next to her, "What do you think?" He asked with a soft smile.
"I like it." She said as she looked around.
"Im glad." He then got up, "you should shower and get some rest Erin." He said.
Er8n sighed and nodded. She did need it. She wanted it, she wanted to float away from here to somewhere else.
