"How did you do that!?" I asked, starring at Emily. She looked down at her hands and then shrugged.
"Maybe we're all developing super powers, er somethin'!" Emma exclaimed.
"Can you try to change the weather again?" I ask. Emily raises one arm and snaps her fingers a couple times. The snow stopped falling. Emily smiled at her hand and then at us.
"Can you do anything else?" Taylor asked. Emily started playing around with her hands, but only making weather changes.
"I guess she only has one power." Emma said.
"Well, lets not waste anymore time on this island, now lets build the rest of the raft." I suggest. Everyone nods and begins to gather wood and rope.
"I wonder if I have a power!" Emma exclaimed to Emily.
As we all started working, Noah explained to us all how to get to Thorun. He told us all kinds of map coordinates, then explained where they would take us. It'll take about two days to get there. I noticed Emma thinking about something, so I asked,
"Whatcha thinkin' about, Em?" She looked up, then smirked,
"I want to find my secret power."
"Well, do you want to experiment?" I ask
"What do you mean?"
"I mean, do you want to experiment to see if you have gained magic powers, too?"
"OMG YES!"
I stand up and hold my hand out for Emma. She grabs it and stands up, too.
"Do somethin' with your hands." I suggest. Emma nods, and starts waving her arms around gracefully. Nothing happened at first, but then I started to float!
"EMMA!!!! YOU CAN LEVITATE THINGS! OMG!" I scream. She smiles and turns her head around to see if everyone was watching.
"Um, hey Em?" I ask.
"Yeah?" She replies.
"I hate to rain on your parade, but could you put me down?"
"Oh, yeah. Sorry!" she giggled. I laugh too as she gently places me on the ground. We looked at each other in the eye. I could tell that this was the beginning of an epic story.
