*4months later*

Everything was cold. The wind that blows up the leaves of the acacia tree, the wooden door of the house, and at the corner was Bright who's weakly gazing at the ceiling with his plain white shirt, and a faded blanket that wrapped to his body. It's been 4 months since he was diagnosed with a disease. In the first months, he was crying and shouting because of pain but as time pass by, he gets used to it. Crying and shouting became normal. The young man became skinny and his skin was pale. 

"Honey, do you want coffee?" Her mom offered but Bright slowly looked at her and shook his head as a response. He covered his self with the faded blanket and put his earphones on. This is him for the past 4months too. He barely talks, no energy at all. Ber months was fastly approaching and everyone is excited for the upcoming holidays but not for Bright. On the other hand, her mom was staring at her the whole time and can't do anything but worry about the condition of his son.

"What should we do?" She emotionally stated and held the hands of his husband. They are both staring at Bright who's just resting on the sofa

"Should we contact Win and tell him what is happening?" His Dad muttered.

In the past 4months, Win doesn't have the guts to visit him or at least contact him by phone.

"If Win doesn't want to show up his himself, let him be" Bright's mom stated and went to the kitchen to brew some coffee.

Minutes passed, a stranger opened the door of the house and when they saw who it was, It's Tawan, Bright's cousin, and a childhood friend. It's been a while since they met each other. Bright parents were happy when they saw Tay Tawan.

"How are you? What brings you here?" Bright mom's asked the young man. Tawan, as usual, gave them a wide smile "Ah, I just want to visit the place again and to see you guys" Tawan said and tour his eyes to the house

"Where's Bright? I haven't seen him for how many years. How is he?" Tawan asked and no one answers him. Bright's mom pointed Bright who's resting on the sofa. Tawan slowly went to Bright's place and he has no idea what is happening to him. Tawan lift the blanket and got quite shocked when he saw Bright. With his pale skin

"B-Bright?" Tay Tawan stuttered from his place as soon as he saw Bright. The other sat from the sofa and gave Tawan a weak smile

"Tay? How are you?" Bright asked Tawan weakly. Tawan smiled at him back and sat beside him

"Nothing new, how about you? You sure lose weight" Tawan asked back and tapped Bright shoulder

"I don't know if I answer your question I'm fine even it's pretty obvious that I'm not" Bright replied and eventually sighed. Tawan was speechless and don't know what to say anymore.

"Uhm, do you know New? The guy we met in a Carnival?" Tawan shared a random story with Bright so that the awkward aura will not exist more

"New? Uh, Your partner?" Bright replied.

"Uh, we are moving back to the Philippines right after the holidays" Tawan happily replied. Bright smiled at him

"Wow, congrats to the both of you," Bright said

"Thank you. You have to recover fast so you can attend our wedding, okay?" Tawan stated and Bright just grinned "Why? There's no fun on what I said?" Tawan added

"I'll try, Tay" Bright shortly said.

"How about you? How are you and Win?" Bright slowly dropped his head as he heard the name of Win.

"We don't talk anymore and let's not bring him up too," Bright said still smiling at Tawan. Tay Tawan slowly scratches his head and realized what he asked

"I hope you can fix whatever needs to be fixed," Tawan said and stood up "Let's go?"

"Where are we going?"

"Let's go for a walk since the weather is good today. You need Vitamins from the sun, buddy" Tawan said and offered his hand to Bright.

"Marky how is he?" Win from the other line asked Marky

"He's not doing good as usual" Marky replied.

"Really?"

"P' try to show up yourself to him. It will help him to motivate himself" Marky said to Win who's unsure of what to do

"Marky it's not easy as you thought" Win explaining his side again to Marky. It's been 4months since Win always asking for daily updates about Bright and yet, he won't want to show his self up to him

"Why?" Marky asked and Win didn't reply again

"P' If it's about you, losing everything in Bangkok, I'm so sorry but that's a lame excuse and a lame reason not to show yourself from him. You let yourself drown from pain because of what you are doing. You should see him before it's too late" Marky said with conviction. The win was still hesitant on what should he do since Bright condition becomes worse and worse every day.

And with realization about what Marky said, Win finally completed his himself "I'll go with you" The young man stated as he packed his things and ready to see Bright.
