"I missed you" I uttered, and hugged him. It's been years and his hug is still warm. I rest my chin into his shoulder,
The sound of the river was very loud, but the only sound that I heard was our heart beat and his heavy breathing
"You won't say anything?" I said while smiling and he still in my embrace
" I don't know what to say" He sniffed as he wiped his tears and smiled at me
"It's been 6 summers" I uttered
"You still remember that?" He replied
The moon finally showed up, its light was reflected into the river and it gave us enough light to see each other's face.
We free ourselves from our hug and he went distant to me. The cold wind blew and we are standing as if we are in a movie, where fireflies are roaming around, the moon seems so lovely and it wasn't only crickets and the roar of the river covered the place, rather, it was also our heart that beats overjoy. I just stared at him
"Is everything okay?" Win stated. I didn't reply him, instead, I just stated at him for the whole time.
"Stop staring at me, It makes me conscious" Win stuttered and blushing
"The moon is lovely, would you like to seat into the grass field and watch how the moon shine more?" I know, it's corny, but the moon was just so beautiful and it made me calm and mesmerized.
"Uhm. I want to" Win replied and went close to me. We sat into the grass field near to the riverside.
I looked at the moon and glance into Win. He looked back at me "Hoi, what are you staring again" He added and bailed out his attention on me
I took a deep breathe
"Are you going to leave me again?" I said as my voice switched from a sad tone
"That's all of a sudden" Win replied and rest his chin into his knees, and stared into the sky.
"It is, actually. If you can't answer it, I'm fine" I replied and just stared at the sky
"Or maybe, you are the star that makes the night aesthetic and I'm the moon who will just watch you fading, when the sun is coming" I stated
"Sounds poetic" this time, he rest his head into my shoulder.
"The day I left you, It was the hardest decision I had done. I saw you, running into the road trying to stop me" Win's voice became emotional
"And it kills me every time I remember that day. You know how much important you are to me. Bright, my Dad was dying that time. Loosing you and loosing him made me depressed" He vent out his emotion just like how the water roars into the river every time they are crashing into a stone
I plastered my attention still into the moon and let him express what he feel
"You are thinking that I'm selfish, right?" I uttered as the moon was dominated by the dark clouds
"Uhm, and I hate you for that," Win replied back with a calm tone of voice
"Sorry, if I was too selfish that time. I was just scared that time. Dealing with my own demons wasn't easy, until you came to the room that made a catastrophe into a beautiful one. When I heard you'll go to Bangkok, I immediately searched for you but I was too late. There's no night I didn't cry. That time, it was the coldest summer I experienced" I said to Win still looking into the scenery
"Sorry" He shortly uttered
"I'm scared to the fact that you'll going to leave me again" I added and he removed his head into my shoulder
"I can't promise you that I'm going to stay by your side again" Win stood up and fixed his self "But the important thing for now, is how we going to spend the rest of the season, together"
"That's why I don't want to attach myself to you again" I replied and lift my head to see him. He was smiling at me
"Bright" He uttered
"Uhm?" I asked
"Let's create new memories together" Win stated and offered his right hand on me to stand up.
"Let's go home?" I offered as the precious moon was covered by the dark clouds
"The stars are lovely too" He uttered as we looked at the sky
"Let's go" I said and he grabbed my left arm and held it as we walked out of the place
Win is right. We don't have to stress out ourselves to foresee what will happen into the future. Looking back at the past, sometimes, will make you happy because of the memories you had and it makes you sad as you remember your memories that shattered you into pieces. Looking forward into the future will make you conscious to yourself because of the what it's that formed into our mind. Just focus on the present. Savor every moment you have, and if you had a bad day, please always remember that it was just a bad day, not a bad life at all.
"Good night, see you tomorrow" Win shyly said and scratched the back of his head
"Um, see you, " I said shortly
He came in and slowly closed the door while waving at me. I continued walking as I caught myself smiling because of what happened today.

As the moon shines
and ruled the dark night
Two people let their feelings shine and killed the darkness of their heart;
That darkness made them selfish and made them coward
Selfish because one was scared to be left out
Coward because one was scared to face the reality;
I thought it would be the seventh cold summer
I'm wrong. Just like how the shine bloom every morning, we will have our fresh start
This summer will be the warmest summer of all, so warm that will melt a cold heart;
