W-what? I didn't expect Sapphire to defeat Mark. I mean, he's the top 1 tapos biglang natalo sya ng newbie? Seryoso, ano bang ginawa ni Mark dun at naging ganon kagaling?
Kita ko naman na hindi basta bastang ibinigay ni Mark ang laban kay Sapphire. I mean, they really fight. Nakita ko na nahirapan din sila lalo na si Mark.
Nakita kong nahirapan syang gumalaw ng ayos, parang yubg tipong ibinigay nya yung best nya pero nakokontra ni Sapphire. Nababasa nya ang sunod nyang gagawin kaya nahirapan syang gumalaw.
While Sapphire, napahanga nya din ako. I mean, she's worried at first tapos biglang nag bago ang aura nya, and then napahanga nya ako sa technique na ginamit nya para matalo si Mark.
Inalalayan ni Sapphire si Mark na bumangon. At nagkangitian muna sila.
"Okay kalang?" Sapphire worriedly asked.
"I'm fine." Sabi ni Mark sabay hawak sa braso nya.
"Di naman masyadong masakit, mawawala din to." He said while smiling.
"I mean, ayos lang ba sayo na natalo kita?" She asked habang nakatungo.
So straight forward.
"Of course! You gave your best, I also gave mine, so its a fair game love."
L-love? Sila na ba? Shit, I shouldn't feel this. This fcking not right!
I was about to leave but Sapphire called my name.
"Felip! Hoy, iiwan mo ako?" Sabi nya at lumapit sa akin.
Tiningnan ko kung nandun pa si Mark pero wala na sya. Baka sinamahan si Gail, may sugat sya eh.
"You're talking with Mark earlier so I decided to leave."
She smile. Kailan pa naging ganto ang personality nya?
"Umalis na sya, sinamahan si Gail sa clinic. Sinugatan mo eh."
Naging kasalanan ko pa ngayon?! Ah, oo nga naman kasalanan ko talaga, bakit kasi sya ang pinili ko?
I sighed. "Congrats."
"T-thank you."
"Hindi ko akalain na matatalo mo sya."
"Ako din eh. Nagpalamang lang yun."
"Hindi ako naniniwala. He puts efforts sa bawat atake nya, ibig sabihin he struggles in every attack he gives. At saka kita ko ngang nahihirapan sya sa mga atakeng ibinibigay nya sayo."
"Totoo?"
"Oo, its a fair game talaga."
"Team Grey and Red, please plan now. The game will start in 5 minutes."
"Tara upo na tayo?" Alok ko.
"Okay." Sabi nya at umupo na sa tabi ng team namin.
Many greeted her 'nice job Sapphire', 'ang galing mo' at marami pang ibang pagpuri ang natangap nya maliban kay Scarlet.
"Hindi mo ba sya babatiin Scarlet?" Frank asked.
"Nice job, Sapphire." She said at ngumiti.
But her smile isn't real. Its fake.
"T-thank you." I know Sapphire felt something is off.
"Please get ready players. Its now Kelly Herra v.s Garry Herra and Terrence v.s Fiona. Get ready!"
Fiona and Terrance are one of the top students here. Kasama sila sa top ten. Magaling din sila. But the most exciting one is the battle of the two cousins.
I never thought na pipiliin ni Garry Herra ang mismong pinsan nya.
Garry made the first move. They are not using sticks which means pisikalan ang laban nila. This is Kelly's weakness.
She immediatley avoided the punch.
Eto ang ayoko. Ang makitang nakikipaglaban ang taong wakang laban sa kanya sa gantong laranagan.
"Lalabas lang ako Sapphire."
She nodded. Masyadong focus sa game eh.
I know that Kelly is the top 3 and Garry is the top 4, pero kasi naging mas lamang si Kelly sa tactics kaya sya ang nag top 3. She also advances in academics kaya nagka ganoon ang resulta.
Call me stalker or what pero yun talaga ang nakikita ko noon sa tuwing magkakasama kaming top 5.
Lumabas na ako ng main hall and then bahala na kung saan ako pupunta.
And then naramdaman kong may bumanga sa balikat ko.
"Mark."
"Felip." He looked at me with his usual serious and scary aura.
"Why didn't you chose me earlier?" He asked.
"Like what I've said. I wanted to test the top 5."
"Do you think I'll buy that idea?" He asked while looking straight in the hallway.
"Yeah--"
He scoffed. "You wanted me to fight her asshole!"
I was shocked of his sudden reaction. Kahit kailan ay hindi nya pa ako pinag tataasan ng boses. He's always calm while remaining his posture. Pero ngayon, bigla nya akong sinigawan.
"Hindi sa ganon Mar--" I didn't even finished my sentence because he punched me.
"Para saan yun?!" I asked.
"For letting me fight her."
"You're being irrasional Mark." I said while wiping the blood near my lips.
"Then why didn't you choose me?"
I sighed. Bakit nga ba? "Because... I don't want to hurt you.."
He scoffed. "What?! You don't want to fcking hurt me?!"
"I don't want to hurt you more Mark."
He smirked. And then he adverted his gaze.
"I don't know what you're talking about." He said and then walk away.
Mark.. your my friend, my best friend, but why you're already slipping away? Nawawala kana sa akin Mark. Nawawala ka na ng hindi ko napapansin o namamalayan man lang.
I sighed at pumunta na ulit sa loob ng main hall.
Pagtingin ko sa score board ay ito na ang status.
Black Team- 2 wins (semi-finals)
Violet Team- 2 loses (wild card)
Red Team- 2 wins ( semi- finals )
Gray Team- 2 loses ( wild card )
Garry's team won. We'll be fighting him in the next round.
I wonder if dean's gonna change the rules. I wonder kung kami parin ba ang pipili ng mag kalaban o sya na ang pipili nun.
"Congratulations Red team for winning this round. And now the first team who will be fighting each other are Violet Team versus Gray Team. Please prepare. The next battle will start in 10 minutes. Good luck!"
Buti naman at hindi kami.
The one who will win in this round is the one who will proceed in the finals. And the one that will win against our team and Garry's team will be fighting with the winning team from Violet and Gray team.
This is exciting.
