Chapter 27: The Semi-Finals

"Congratulations Red team for winning this round. And now the first team who will be fighting each other are Violet Team versus Gray Team. Please prepare. The next battle will start in 10 minutes. Good luck!"

Pamula dito ay kitang kita ko ang pagka disappoint ng mukha ni Kelly dahil sa naging resulta ng laban. Hindi nya akalain na matatalo ulit sya ng pinsan nya sa pangalawang pagkakataon.

Malaki ang lamang ng pinsan nya sa kanya dahil hindi nya ito mautakan. At naging isa pa nyang kahinaan ay ang pinili ng pinsan nya which is physical.

Alam ng pinsan nya na iyon ang kahinaan nya kaya ginamit nya ito. Simula palang ng laban ay nautakan na agad si Kelly ni Garry.

Habang naglalaban sila kanina ay kitang kita ang paghihirap ni Kelly. Iniilagan lang nya ang atake ni Garry, hindi sya naka atake ng ayos ng dahil sa hindi sya bihasa sa physical.  Sa tuwing group activity kasi ay laging sya lang ang nag plaplano, hindi nya naranasan na makipaglaban dahil sa tagaplano lang sya ng mga mangyayari sa laro.

Kaya rin sya malungkot ay dahil nababagabag ang kalooban nya. Kahit na hindi naman ganoon kasama ang naging performance nya ay nangangamba sya na bumaba ang marka nya. Hindi nya nalabanan ng ayos si Garry which made her worry a lot. She knows that bibihira ang mga atakeng binigay nya, at alam nya din na isa ito sa mamarkahan ng prof, at ng Dean nila.

Huminga syang muli ng malalim at lumabas muna ng Main hall. Gusto nya munang sulitin ang nalalabing 10 minuto niya sa garden ng paaralan para makapag relax siya ng maayos.

Ngunit hindi man lang napansin ni Kelly na may sumusunod sa kanya dahil sa sobrang distracted sya. She can't even think clearly because of her defeat. Take note, its the first time that she experience defeat and it really breaks her down.

She then reached her favorite spot in the garden. Its near the tulips and the sunflowers because it gaves her a different energy. It strenghten her.

She gaves a loud sigh. And then stare at the flowers for a long time.

However, the person who is following her sat near the fountain.

He even don't know why he follows her. Maybe he's concern? Maybe he wanted to know more about her? He don't know.

He stare at her for too long as if she's a kind of a flower the is already drying. It was about to lose its beauty because of what happen, and he don't want to lose her that beauty.

"Kelly?"

Suddenly Kelly's face gave off a sad smile. "Felip.. what are you doing here?"

"Strolling around and then I saw you." He said as if its really a fact.

"Can I sit beside you?" He suddenly asked.

"Sure." And then she moved a little.

"Beautiful, isn't it?"

"Yeah.." Kelly said.

"You know that flowers are losing its beauty overtime right? Because they are drying."

"I know that.. why did you asked?"

"Because you're like a flower right now. Before the test starts, you look like a beautiful flower, and now, you looks like a drying flower."

And then he saw Kelly's eyes forming some tears.
"What do you mean Felip?"

"You know why Sapphire adore you and became your friend in an instant?"

She shook his head.

"Because you're a beautiful flower. A flower with a colorful personality. Each color represents you, strong, brave, beautiful, smart. Everything. You're beautiful as you Kelly that's why we adore you." He said while looking in her full of sincerity in her eyes.

And those eyes made Kelly bursted into tears.

"I.... I thought I'm a-already c-can stand on ny own.. I t-thought, I can... I can handle d-defeat easily.... I t-thought I'm s-strong but I'm not." She said and then cried. "They are right. I'm no one without my family. I'm weak, a loser without them, I'm not even cool without them."

Felip then carressed her back. "Its okay for you to be weak, at least you will learn hoe to be strong.
You don't need to be strong in front of the others. It's okay to be weak sometimes. Its okay to be vulnerable. Mas mahirap kapag kinimkim mo yan Kelly."

Kely cried more. She don't even know why she felt comfortable with him. But now, she realized something, her long time crush become the man he adored. She never thought that Felip would be something like this. He's cold, walang pakialam sa iba. Hindi nya inakala na ganto pala sya, which made her fall inlove with this man badly.

"Kelly.."

"Y-yes?" She said

"Be a different flower. Be the flower that never withers. Be a flower that never fades its beauty, be a endless glowing flower. Glowing of many things that others can't have. Stay who you are Kelly Herra, don't change who you are. Don't try to satisfy others by changing your self hmm?" He said while facing her.

With teary eyes, Kelly nodded.

Felip then wandered around her face. A lot of questions were forming in his head like, why did I followed her?, why did I gave her the advice that I wanted to say to my special someone?, why did I even hugged her and carressed her?

He asked those questions over and over again but still he got no answer. His head are clouded because of Kelly's soft sobs. He got an urge to comfort her, because he doesn't want to hear a person whose crying. He don't want to hear it because he remember the times when he's alone.

Felip then held her face. "Wipe your tears Kelly. Your fight is about to start. Be someone who they never imagine of." He said again while smiling

And those smile gave Kelly a hope to still continue this game. A hope that she will win because she's a unique flower that blossoms everyday and not withering even time flies.
