First hell, then heaven

Chapter 6

- 8 and a half months later -

Katsuki POV

It has now been 8 and a half months since I have been pregnant. We also found out that we are having twins, a boy and a girl. Talk about genetics. Izuku is over the moon and can't wait for them to arrive, and truth be told, neither can I. As we were told, the delivery will be complicated and painful, but the doctors assured us that both the babies and I are not at risk. Izu was worried about that, so he decided to hire a doctor and nurse to stay at home in case I gave birth suddenly and we couldn't make it to the hospital in time, or in case Izu wasn't home for some errand. Since we learned that I was pregnant Izu has become very protective and sweet, maybe it's his Alpha nature that makes him do that; for example, when he had to leave the house for some errand, he would resist and I would have to threaten him to get him to go.

I get up from the couch, thinking about our beautiful twins coming into the world soon and all these months spent preparing for that day, and head to get something to drink. Izu isn't home right now. As I pour the water into my glass, I feel something wet and sticky run down my leg, then feel the pain come. I realize what's happening. I'm going into labor.

Katsuki: "AAAAHHHHHHHHH"

Doctor: "OMG SIGNOR MIDORIYA! MELISSA CALL AN AMBULANCE, THE GENTLEMAN IS IN LABOR! ALSO CALL MR. MIDORIYA AND ALERT HIM!"

Melissa: "YES SIGNOR!"

The doctor comes up to me and starts checking me over and reassuring me, at least until my partner or an ambulance arrives. At some point I hear sirens and Izu's comforting voice.

Izuku: "KAT I'M HERE WITH THE AMBULANCE! WAIT FOR ME!"

Katsuki: "GET DOWN!" I yell, in agony.

A little later I see Izuku come in and run towards me. Behind him, some paramedics. The doctors who had come with the ambulance grabbed me and placed me on a stretcher, then carried me inside the ambulance, while they asked Izuku and S. Brune (the doctor) questions, I guess about my pregnancy. After I think half an hour we get to the hospital and they take me straight to the delivery room, saying that I have to have a C-section right away, to prevent one of the babies from suffocating while trying to come out. Maybe then it won't be very painful for me. Apparently one of the side effects of the Omega Type A pregnancy is that she has to deliver right away and not have to wait hours like a normal one, especially if it's a boy. When we get into the room and they start setting me up on a crib in a hospital gown, they ask if I want to have a pain reliever, and I accept.

Once ready they begin. I hold Izuku's hand tightly throughout the process, screaming at the top of my lungs in pain when they ask me to push. After what seems like an indefinite amount of time, they tell me the first one is coming out, and to keep it up. Then the second one has to come out too, and it's really heartbreaking because I'm tired, but I kept going. Izuku, meanwhile, is holding my hand, continuing to say that I'm a good Omega or that I'm doing great, that we could see our sunbeams before long. I keep pushing to get the second one out as I hear something from a nurse.

Nurse 1: "THE FIRST ONE IS A FEMALE!"

Tears well up in my eyes from both joy and pain.

Doctor 2: "Come on, Katsuki, one last push and it's out!"

Katsuki: "AAAHHHHHHH." I hear the wails of two babies. My babies, or rather, our babies. I look up and see Izuku with tears in his eyes, holding one of the two new lives that have come into this world. Moments later a nurse comes in holding something in her arms.

Nurse 3: "Here, this is the baby boy. We'll leave you two alone now. Call us if you need us and, Mr. Midoriya, you can stay here for the night, don't worry" she tells us with a smile.

Izuku: "Thank you for telling me."

Nurse 3: "No problem sir. I'll take my leave now, goodbye" and with that she leaves.

I'm looking at the baby in my arms. He is beautiful. He has green hair like Izuku but pointed; he hasn't opened his eyes yet. I am enchanted by his beauty.

After the nurse leaves, Izuku approaches me with the baby in her arms.

Izuku: "Katsuki, you did great! Here's Yui, meet mommy," he says, handing Yui to me so that I can take her in my arms.

I have both babies in my arms and look at them with love and tears of joy. Yui also has spiky green hair, like her twin, but she has already opened her little eyes. I remain mesmerized. They are crimson red like mine, but have an emerald green outline and the shape of Izu's. He looks at me intently, as if he's analyzing me, then starts laughing and clapping his hands, as if he's figured out who I am. I laugh too at how funny and cute his laugh was, but at one point he tilts his face to the right and holds out his hands, as if he wants to make sure of something. 

As she touches the sides of my forehead, all the memories of my life before I died pass in front of me, when my sister beat me, when Shoto tried to seduce and touch me without my permission, when all the people I called "friends" hurt me and threatened to hurt the person I loved, and when I found out I was an Omega. All the bad memories come back to my mind, making hot tears fall from my eyes. When Yui's little hands come off I look at her stunned, but I immediately calm down when I see her sobbing. I immediately rock her, trying to calm her down and saying comforting things to her. When Yui stops crying, Izu sits on the bed with Akio in her arms, which I had passed to him.

Izuku: "Did you see them too?"

Katsuki: "Yes, I have seen them. I think he's already developed an oddity."

Izuku: "I think so too. And I think Akio already has too."

Katsuki: "Do you think we should have a doctor check them out?"

Izuku: "Yes, I think that's the best idea. But for now sleep, you've made a huge effort, now you need rest"

Katsuki: "Okay, that's fine. Just wake me up when they need to eat, okay?"

Izuku: "Don't worry about it. Just rest now."

I nod my head as I hand them Yui. I look at them one last time before falling asleep and saying, "I love you"

Izuku: "Us too" I hear in response, then close my eyes.

Hey guys here's chapter six for you. I wanted to inform you that I will be posting two more chapters this afternoon and tomorrow as well. Also wanted to ask you if you wanted a Shinkami or a Kirikami, I'll need it when Izuku and Katsuki go to school, then you'll understand why.
