"Princess Y/N, the Fire Lord wants to see you," one of your maids told you as she entered your room.
"Why?" You asked, confused. Your father rarely asked to see you, usually only for war meetings or to make sure your training was going well.
"He never said why, just that it was urgent."
"Alright then, lead the way."

"Princess Y/N, sit." You did as you were told, not before bowing of course.
"Father, why did you want to see me?"
"I have a very special task for you. I want you to find the Avatar." Your eyes widened. Finding the Avatar was one of the biggest, and most important, tasks your father had ever given you.
"But, Zuko was given that task when he was banished."
"Your brother is a fool. It has been three years and he has not found the Avatar, I have no hope that he will ever find him. But I believe you can."
As horrible as it sounded, that was the nicest thing your father had ever said to you. Normally he was cold, stern, and almost cruel. So to receive a compliment from him was a feat.
"I won't let you down."
