The next morning you woke-up to the sound of Azula shouting orders at the crewmen. You were used to the sound of her yelling, it happened quite often at home, but it was 7 in the morning.
"Azula," You said as you walked out on deck, "Why are you making such a racket at this ungodly hour?"
She answered without even turning around, "Uncle and Zuko should be arriving soon. They must believe that we are taking them home as family, not prisoners. Everything must be perfect, and everyone must be believable."
You were about to remind her that they never made up their minds about coming, when you saw them approach the ship.
"Ah," Azula said to Zuko and Iroh, "So you've decided to come. Crew, set the course for home."
You saw the look of pure happiness on your brother's face and suddenly felt a wave of guilt. You knew how much Zuko longed to be accepted by your father, and lying to him about it felt wrong. But there was no other way he would've went with you.
But the captain just had to speak up and ruin it, "You heard the Princess, we're taking the prisoners home." Azula glared at him.
"You lied to me! Both of you!" Zuko said and you could see the look of hurt in his eyes.
But before you could say anything your sister pulled your arm and guided you up the steps. "Like I've never done that before."
Almost instantly a fight broke out, you saw your uncle taking out crew member after crew member. You never knew he could fight so well. You ducked as some fire shot over your head, and turned to see that Zuko was the one who did it.
"I'm not surprised by Azula lying to me," He said, "But you? Y/N, how could you!"
"I had no choice," You said, dodging his fire, "Father gave me a mission, and as the heir to the throne I'm expected to fulfil it."
"I'm starting to think you are just like Azula."
That hurt. And he knew it. All throughout your childhood you had hated it when people compared you to your sister. Usually it was because she was so amazing and you weren't. People were surprised that the youngest child was the most talented.
Once, when you and Zuko were 10, you got into a big fight. There was yelling, fire, and kicking. I'm his rage he had told you that you were just like Azula, manipulative and mean. He had apologized after, and you forgave him. But he knew how much you hated the comparison, so to say it now was cruel.
"All you do is lie and betray me," He continued with venom in his voice, "But what else could I expect from someone who hangs around with her all day."
Just as you were about to lunge at him, Azula's lightning hit the cliff by the ship as Iroh pished her off the ship, and Zuko ran off with your uncle.
Your brother's words echoed in your head the rest of the
A/N I know this was short, but I hope you still liked it. I'm really excited to write Mai and Ty Lee, I have something interesting planned for when they enter the story
