You were in your room, reading a book, when Azula walked in."I'm going to find ZuZu. Come with me," She demanded.
"Why?"
"Because he went to visit Uncle in prison, and I want to know why."
"And why would you need me for that? Just talk to him yourself."
"Because," Azula said, coming to stand directly in front of you, "Zuko doesn't trust me as much as he does you, and I want him to tell the truth."
"Fine. I'll come."
The two of you walked out to a cliff side, where Mai and Zuko were having a picnic.
Or at least that's what it looked like it was supposed to be, they were just kissing. You made a disgusted face at Azula, causing her to snicker briefly before clearing her throat, letting Zuko and Mai know that you were there.
"Zuko," Azula said, "Can we have a word with you?"
"Can't you see we're busy," He said, turning back to Mai.
"Oh, Mai," Azula said in a sing-song voice, "Ty Lee needs your help untangling her braid."
"Sounds pretty serious," Mai got up from her spot in the picnic blanket, giving you a look as she walked by.
Zuko turned to look at the two of you, annoyed, and Azula gave you a nudge with her elbow.
"I heard that you went to see Uncle," You said.
Zuko jumped up, "That guard told you!"
"No," Azula said smugly, "You did. Just now."
Zuko sat back down, a frown on his face, "Okay, you caught me. What is it that you want?"
"Nothing," You said, knowing that if you let Azula talk she would say something that would only result in him getting angrier, "We're looking out for you, Zuko. If people find out you've been to see Uncle, they'll think you're plotting with him. I just want you to be careful."
He nodded, but didn't meet your gaze, instead looking over the cliff side towards to prison.

That night you snuck out to follow Zuko.
You knew he was going to go back to see Uncle, even with your warning. He had always been quite stubborn.
You saw him walking down the hallway, and you decided to put your stealth skills to test. Following him down the corridor, and out the palace doors. Down the path way, and to the prison.
He stopped to talk to one of the guards, and you slipped passed, going to Uncle's cell. Zuko walked in, but you stayed outside.
You could hear him through the door, "I brought you some komodo chicken. I know you don't care for it, but I figure it beats prison food."
You smiled to yourself, Zuko was still a caring nephew, even if Uncle was a traitor.
"I admit it, I have everything I always wanted, but it's not as all how I thought it would be. The truth is, I need your advice," Your smile faltered, he needed Uncle's advice. What for? Uncle had betrayed the whole Fire Nation, why would Zuko want his help, "I think the Avatar's still alive. I know he's out there, and I'm losing my mind."
Your eyes widened I shock, the Avatar was still alive. But how? Azula had shot him with lightning! No one could survive that, but according to Zuko, he was alive. And if Zuko was right, then that would mean he didn't have his honour back. That would mean that father wouldn't want him home.
You left the prison, not wanting to hear anymore of the conversation. You knew what you had to do, and that was make sure no one found out that the Avatar might be alive.
Because if they did, your brother would leave. Again.

The next morning a fervent came to wake you up, saying that the Fire Lord wanted to speak with you.
The servants helped you get ready, washing your hair, putting it up, picking out your outfit, and doing your make up.
"Thank you," You said as they left. They just nodded, not saying anything.
You made your way to the throne room, walking in and kneeling in front of your father.
"Princess Y/N," He said, "A servant told me that you were leaving the palace late last night. Is this true?"
You took a deep breath, trying to calm your nerves, before speaking, "No, Father. I have no idea what that servant is talking about."
He hummed thoughtfully, probably deciding if you were lying or not.
"I see, so you are saying that the servant lied to me."
You nodded.
He directed his next part to the guard behind you, "Bring me the servant," He then looked down at you again, "Y/N, you may leave."
You stood up, bowing, and then exiting the room.
A/N this turned out way different than I had planned, but I guess that's good sometimes, right? Anyways, there's barely any zuko and azula scenes in the next couple episodes, so I genuinely have no idea what to write. So if anyone has any suggestions, please tell me.
Have a good day! :)
