After The Siege of The North your father had ordered you and Azula home. You had just arrived at the Fire Nation palace today, and we're heading to see your father.

"Father," Azula said as both of you entered his throne room, "Why did you want us back?"

"You two have failed to find the Avatar."

"We had only gotten sidetracked by Zuko and Uncle," You said which seemed to anger him as the flames around his throne grew larger.

"You saw your treacherous brother and uncle?"

"Yes."

He paused for a moment, thinking. But finally spoke up, "You have a new mission. You will bring Zuko and Iroh back to the Fire Nation. They are traitors to the crown and belong in prison."

You were shocked by what he had said. You knew how your father felt about Zuko and Iroh, but they didn't deserve prison.

"Of course, Father," Azula said and the two of you left the throne room.

"You look troubled, Y/N," Azula said to you once you were out of the throne room.

"I just have mixed feelings about attacking Zuko and Uncle."

"Well, you better hope those feelings leave because if you can't do your job then I'd be more than happy to complete it myself."

"No, I can do it."

Azula smirked, "Good."

You watched as Azula practiced her lightning bending. She had always been the better firebender, you had to train for hours a day to be half as good as her. And no matter how many times you tried, you couldn't make lightning. It was so frustrating.

You thought that if you could learn how to make lightning then your father would think you were as good as Azula. And while he's always treated you better than Zuko, he obviously favours Azula.

"C'mon," You were snapped out of your thoughts by your sister.

"What?"

"This is where those traitors are, follow me and be quiet." You rolled your eyes, Azula always bossed you around. It didn't matter how many times you reminded her that you are the oldest.

"But what are we supposed to tell them? I doubt they'll want to come if we tell them father wants them in prison."

Azula rolled her eyes at you, "Leave the talking to me."

You and Azula snuck into Zuko and Iroh's house, or whatever it was, and Azula motioned for you to be quiet before she spoke.

"Hello brother." Zuko turned around in surprise when he heard Azula's voice. But his shook soon morphed into a look of hatred.

"What are you doing here? Last time I saw you, Y/N and you betrayed me!"

"We didn't betray-" You started to say but Azula held her hand in front of your face in a motion to quiet you.

"In my country we exchanged a present hello when you meet someone. Have you become uncivilized so soon ZuZu?" Zuko did not seem impressed by this.

"What do you want?"

"Father wants you home."

"W-what?" He seemed shocked by this answer. He turned to you land said, "Y/N, is this true?"

Azula gave you a look that said 'you better agree with me or I'll kill you'.

"Yes," You said, "Azula is telling the truth. Father wants you home, he regrets banishing you."

"Father regrets?"

"He does." You tried not to grimace as you said it. You hated lying to Zuko, but how else were you supposed to get home home.

"So, I'm welcome home?"

"That's what we just said isn't it, ZuZu," Azula said while rolling her eyes.

"I told you not to call me that!"

"Whatever. I can see you need some time to process this information, so when you decide to come, we'll be waiting on the ship."

Azula and you walked out of the house and back to the ship.
