"No one can make tea like Uncle," Zuko said as he passed out cups of tea to the others. "But hopefully I learned a thing or two. Would you like to hear Uncle's favourite tea joke?"

Everyone responded with a chorus of excited replies, so Zuko continued.

"Well, I can't remember how it starts, but the punch line is Leaf me alone, I'm bushed!"

You internally facepalmed as everyone stared with blank faces.

"Well," Zuko said, awkwardly rubbing his neck. "It's funnier when Uncle tells it."

"Right ... maybe that's because he remembers the whole thing," Katara said, and while you didn't particularly like her, you laughed.

"It's nice to get a chance to relax," Toph said. "It hardly ever happens."

You nodded in agreement before you felt someone tap you on the shoulder. You turned around and saw Sokka standing behind you.

"Can I talk to you for a second?"

"Sure," You replied, standing and dusting off your clothes before following him to Appa.

"What's up?"

"If someone was captured by the Fire Nation, where would they be taken," He asked.

"What do you mean," You asked, eyebrows raised in a questioning manner. "Why would you want to know that?"

"When the invasion plan failed, some of our troops were taken. I just want to know where they might be."

You sighed, on one hand telling him could just make it worse, but on the other he deserved to know what had happened to his friends.

"It's my dad," He added after you stayed silent. "He was captured too, I want to know where they might be keeping him."

"My guess is, the Boiling Rock."

"What's that?"

"The highest security prison in the Fire Nation," You answered. "It's on an island in the middle of a boiling lake. It's inescapable."

"So, where is this place?"

"Don't think I don't know what you're doing," You said, pointing an accusing finger at him. "You aren't going to the Boiling Rock, it's too dangerous."

"Why do you care?"

"Because I don't think the Avatar would like it if I let his friend run off to an inescapable Fire Nation Prison in the middle of a boiling lake."

Sokka held up his hands in surrender, "Okay, okay, I get it." He walked back to the camp fire, though you could tell he wasn't letting this go.

You woke up late in the night, rubbing your eyes and squinting at the blurry figure walking around. It was Sokka. You got up quietly, and made your way over to him. He had a small bag slung across his shoulder, he was clearly going somewhere.

"Not up to anything, huh," You heard Zuko's voice say from on top of the bison.

Sokka fell with a scream, and dropped his bag. "Fine, you caught me. I'm gonna rescue my dad. You happy now?"

"I'm never happy," Zuko responded.

"Look," Sokka said. "I have to do this. The invasion plan was my idea, it was my decision to stay when things went wrong. It's my mistake, and it's my job to fix it. I have to regain my honour. You can't stop me, Zuko."
