A/N It's the middle of the night and I can't sleep so here's the new chapter

It took a couple weeks to finally return to the walls of Ba Sing Se.

You had put on your Kyoshi Warrior outfit, along with the face paint, before arriving. The four of you walked to the base of the wall, where some soldiers were standing.

"State your name and business." One of the soldiers said, already in position to earthbend a giant Rick at you.

"We are the warriors of Kyoshi," You said, "And we are here to serve the Earth King."

They seemed satisfied with that answer.

Idiots, You thought, They aren't even going to question us?

"This way." One of the soldiers guided you, Mai, Ty Lee, and Azula towards the inner wall.

He spoke to another soldier on the way, telling him to inform the King of the visitors.

It was a long walk to the palace, Ba Sing Se was bigger than you expected, but you finally arrived.

The soldier bowed, as the four of you entered the throne room.

"In our hour of need," The King said as you knelt in front of his throne, "It is with the highest honour that I welcome our estimated allies, the Kyoshi Warriors!"

You, Azula, Mai, and Ty Lee, looked up at him.

"We are the Earth Kings humble servants."

"Look Basco! The Kyoshi warriors are here to protect us! Aren't you excited?" The Earth King's bear yawned in response to the over enthusiastic king.

You resisted the urge to roll your eyes. This king really was an idiot. He clearly had not learned proper royalty etiquette, like you and Azula had.

"It's been a difficult week for me," The Earth King sighed, "My most trusted advisor, Long Feng, and his Dai Li agents tried to take control of Ba Sing Se from me."

"It's terrible when you can't trust the people closest to you," Azula said.

"But there is good news. As we speak, the Council of Five is planing an invasion on the Fire Nation. On the day of the the solar eclipse."

Your eyes widened. An invasion? On a solar eclipse? The Fire Nation would be nearly defenceless. This was important information to get back to your father.

You glanced over to Azula, and saw that she had quickly recovered from her shock.

She spoke clearly and innocently as she said, "Really? Now that sounds like a fascinating and brilliant plan."

The Earth King smiled at the praise, almost like he was a child. Which may not be entirely wrong. You had no idea how old the king was, but he certainly didn't act like an adult.

"I know," He exclaimed, "The Council of Five will do a wonderful job. I have my full faith in them."

"We have been presented with an extraordinary opportunity, girls," Azula said as she paced around the room the four of you were staying in.

You, Mai, and Ty Lee were removing the Kyoshi Warrior makeup still. Seriously, there was a lot.

"Mai finally gets to wear makeup that isn't totally depressing?" Ty Lee guessed, making you chuckle as Mai sarcastically "laughed".

"I'm talking about conquering the whole Earth Kingdom," Azula said while walking to the window, unamused by Ty Lee's joke, "For one hundred years the Fire Nation has hammered away at Ba Sing Se from the outside. But now, we're on the inside, and we can take it ourselves."

"Gosh," Ty Lee gushed admiringly, "You're so confident. I really admire that about you."

You agreed with her internally. Azula was confident, and you wished you could be like her. All put together, perfect, and talented.

Azula ignored Ty Lee's comment and continued, "From the inside we're in the perfect position to organize a coup and overthrow the Earth King. The key is the Dai Li. Whoever controls the Dai Li," She turned back towards you, "Controls Ba Sing Se."

The next day, Azula's plan was put into action.

You, Mai, and Ty Lee were seated outside the palace doors, waiting for the Dai Li agents to show up. You saw one of them out of the corner of your eye and motioned for Mai to start talking.

"I'm tired of wearing this girly disguise," She said, just loud enough for the Dai Li to hear, "I don't know how anyone can fight in this."

Ty ale punched the air, "Maybe that's why it was so easy to beat the Kyoshi Warriors and take their clothes?"

"How much longer do we have to serve the Earth King," You said, feigning annoyance (though it wasn't completely fake).

"Yeah," Mai agreed, "If I have to clean up one more pile of bear poop, I'm going to throw up."

"Azula promised we would go back to the Fire Nation as soon as we capture the Avatar. We just have to be patient."

You jumped up and made a 'shushing' motion with your hands, "Shush up! Do you want the whole palace to know we're Fire Nation? You especially don't want them to know the two Princesses are here."

"Sorry," Ty Lee said, and you saw the Dai Li craw back up the wall and leave.

Azula came out from her hiding spot, a small smirk working its way into her face.

"Good work, girls. I'm sure the Dai Li will deliver the message."

The four of you shared a look and went back inside the palace.

You returned to the throne room, seated around the King, when someone burst through the doors.

"Thank goodness you're here, Suki," You realized that the girl who was talking was the Avatar's friend, "Something terrible is going on. The Fire Nation has infiltrated the city, I just saw Prince Zuko and his uncle! We have to tell the Earth King right away."

Your eyes widened. Zuko? He was in the city?

Azula seemed to be just as shocked, but recovered from it much quicker than you.

"Oh, don't worry," She said, "I'll be sure to let him know."

The girl's eyes widened, realizing that you are not in fact Kyoshi Warriors, and she got out her water, ready to fight. But Ty Lee, always ahead of the game, chi blocked her. The waterbender fell in the ground, helpless.

"So, ZuZu's in the city, too? Y/N, I think it might be time for a family reunion."

"I do believe you're right, Azula."

Just then four Dai Li agents snuck up behind you and grabbed both you and Azula. You pretended to struggle, though you knew this as part of Azula's plan.

They brought the two of you to Long Feng's prison cell, where Azula began to question what they were doing.

"What is the meaning of this," She exclaimed, "Your agents randomly show up and drag us down here? You will not treat two Kyoshi Warriors this way!"

Long Feng grinned, "But you're not Kyoshi Warriors, are you? Princesses Y/N and Azula if the Fire Nation."

"What do you want from us?" You said impatiently.

"I want to make a deal. It's time that I regained control of Ba Sing Se and you have something I need."

"Oh?" Azula asked.

"The Earth King's trust."

You scoffed, "Why should we help you?"

"Because," Ling Feng smiled, "I can get you the Avatar."

You and Azula shared a look before she spoke, "I'm listening."
