People started surrounding and aiming their guns at us. We were completely outnumbered.
"This round of hide-and-seek is sadly over, but the next round is starting...right now!"
We heard a fit of hysterical laughter before she announced.
"Are you rea...
"Our annual skateboarding time is here," Sam said, holding his skateboard to his side. I was riding my skateboard, using my feet to push myself forward with my hands in my hoodie as we went towards the indoor skate park.
"It's usually empty during this time so we'll have our space," I mentioned and we went in.
The skate park was like an average one, with ramps and rails for different tricks. It's also the skate park Sam and I went to every year at least once, usually on one of our birthdays.
We put down our bag and took off our hood and cap. I went to the edge of a ramp and turned around, "You coming?"
He came and steadied himself on the edge before giving me a smirk and pushing himself off the ledge.

KRISTIAN
Kris has been acting weird lately. Call it twin's intuition, I'm sure it's because of his obsession with our sister. It's not a 'romantic' thing, but more of a 'protective sibling' thing.
But it's barely just protective now, it's a full-blown obsession. It wasn't this crazy when our parents were still alive, but after their passing, he's up the ante on it.
He's almost controlling her in a sense. I could never figure out his thoughts and what he wants. It's like...the Kris I grew up with wasn't really there anymore. Now, it's just him crazy obsessed with his own sister.
At times, I would find him in his room just staring at our family photos on his shelf. At times, he would go into her room just to see her, like he wants to make sure she's there.
I caught him almost putting a bullet in Zach when he found out he was staying the night back before Zach knew.
They were completely against letting Zach join, but Kryssie was smart. She knew how to get her way, even if she doesn't want to. She knows that she has Kris in the palm of her hand, she knows that they'll do anything for her.
She just needs to ask him, and he'll do it. But she doesn't have a clue about his condition. He hides it too well that even I didn't know until last year when he told me.
On multiple occasions, I have asked him to get help. I've warned him that his obsession with our sister may harm her in the end. But all he said was he needed to stay with her to protect her.
That side of him, that obsessed side, he would never let Kryssie see that. He would do anything to make sure her image of him stays 'perfect brother' forever. He would kill anyone who threatened to tell her about his true colors.
He'd do anything for her, to keep her safe and close to him.
But I have a feeling that iswhat's going to harm her and push her away.
KRISTOPHER
Having to leave her, even with someone, frightened me more than anything. Usually, nothing scared me, even when they died, I was calm.
But when she's not in my vicinity, every single possibility of something, anything, happening to her, terrified me. Every time she wasn't near me, fear would fill my whole being.
I felt the need to protect her forever. When she told me she got herself a boyfriend, my heart broke into pieces. She had another one to protect her, another guardian, and that broke me.
I had to protect her from the cruel world. She had already lost her innocence from losing our parents at age six and being exposed to a gun at age eight, I vowed to never let her meddle in gang work. But of course, being her, she was able to talk her way into getting involved.
When Powell found out about the gang, I was ecstatic, to say the least. She wouldn't have another man to protect her, and that meant Icould protect her. She didn't need anyone else.
She just needed me.
But Jesus had other stupid plans for us. Three years later, she met another man, another suitor. Someone that would steal her away from me.
Zachary Kingston.
The reason she's growing distant. She's spending so much time with him, she doesn't spend time with me as much anymore. I feel her slipping away from my grasp. He's stealing her away from me.
Cain Howards.
That wretched waiter. I thought he would just be a normal employee, but of course, he had to get close to her. I should've just fired him immediately when he started talking to her more, but she wouldn't want me to fire him without reason.
Dylan Morose.
I thought he wouldn't be a nuisance from being just a driver, but she wanted to be close to him. Every time we were in a vehicle, I wanted them to have no contact whatsoever. I was able to stop him from calling her 'Krystia' or whatever bullshit, but I couldn't stop her from calling him that stupid nickname.
And Sam Phillips.
I've gotten used to him always being around her, but they're a little too close. She has to stay the closest with me, no matter what happens.
Call me jealous or overprotective, I don't care. She stays with me, and me only. She's of Estrada blood, she has our blood circulating in her. She'll always have a part of me with her, and she doesn't even know it.
I took that accident as a sign, a chance, to pump my blood in her, so she'll have a part of me with her. My blood, my heart, my soul.
She will forever have me wrapped around her little finger.
Kitten.
My adorable, perfect little sister.
You're my possession. My little darling. The love of my life. I would give everything up for you.
You're mine.
Forever.
