KRYSTALLIA
It's been two months since the death threat and today's the first day of fall. When I woke up, I jumped off the bed and went to my balcony.
The chilly air surrounded me as I stepped onto the cool porcelain floor. I grabbed the steel bar above the glass railing and looked down at the shedding trees.
As I was enjoying the scenery, I heard footsteps coming towards the balcony before a pair of arms encircled around my waist. I felt soft kisses being peppered on my bare shoulder, thanks to my strappy nightgown.
"My gem. My Diamond. My Krystallia," he mumbled into my skin and I let out a light laugh, "That's a lot."
"Diamond, for you, I'd steal every crystal on this planet and gift them to you with a big purple bow along with me," he said, kissing the tip of my ear, his hands gliding along my waist.
"Did you steal some candy from the stash in my drawer? Because your mouth's extra sweet today," I questioned teasingly and he placed his chin on my shoulder, "Why don't you turn around and find out?"
I turned and he leaned in, planting his lips on mine. His hands went down to my hips and he lifted me, sitting me on the railing. I slid my hands up his naked torso, his abs flexing under my touch and I rested my palms on his shoulders.
I felt the tip of his tongue brushing against my lower lip and opened my mouth for him. I played with the hair on the nape of his neck and he took hold of my legs, hooking them around his waist, just above his black pajama pants. He traced his fingers along my thigh, sending tingles up my spine.
We pulled away breathing heavily from the lack of oxygen and Zach looked at me, smiling ear to ear, "Kissing you will never get old."
I laughed and pecked his cheek, "We've got to get ready."
He pushed his bottom lip out like a child, "I just wanna stay in bed all day."
"Then who's gonna protect me from the person trying to kill me?" I asked and he grabbed my waist, picked me up, and brought me inside and into my closet. He set me down on my feet, "Can we match today?"
I chuckled and nodded, "Of course we can."
We ended up picking matching diagonal color block hoodies, the top half white and bottom half black, with a cute bunny print on the front and carrots attached to the ends of the drawstrings. The hood had soft white bunny ears too to add some more cuteness. We wore matching black pants and black and white high Vans skate shoes.
Smiling at our outfits, we walked into the bathroom to brush our teeth and take our things before walking down to the kitchen. We entered and I saw Kris (I think) sipping on a cup of coffee, scrolling through the news on his phone.
He must've heard us come in because he looked up and gave us a nod, "Morning."
"Morning," I said, looking at his eye. I could see him physically trying to stop the twitch in his right eye and laughed, "You can stop that, Landon. I caught it."
He rolled his eyes playfully, "Yeah, yeah. You went two decades without catching shit."
I scoffed jokingly, "I just wasn't paying attention. I could've caught it."
"Whatever you say, Krystal."
I sat opposite him and Zach took the seat next to me. Breakfast was served and after downing it, we got in the SUV and headed for campus.
