Chapter Four

Chapter Four - Mwah Mwah

Saturday, 18th April 2020

ZACHARY

"Grip with two hands, feet shoulder-width apart, slightly bend your knees," she corrected my stance as I held the pistol. I stood according to her standards and aimed the gun at the target in front of me.

"Use your dominant eye. Align the gun with your eye. Point at the target."

I did as she said and she asked, "Is it pointing at the target?"

"Yes."

"Take the safety off and pull the trigger."

I flipped the safety off and shot the bullet. It landed above the red dot on the target and I lowered my hand in disappointment. Diamond must've noticed because she placed a hand on my bicep, "It's alright. You'll get it."

She took the pistol from me and dumped it on the table. I thought she was gonna give me another pistol the train with but I didn't expect her to hand me a rifle.

An actual rifle.

She saw my hesitance at accepting the gun and gave me a reassuring smile, "It's okay. We all have first-time jitters holding a rifle. I'll teach you."

I nodded and held the gun in my hands.

"Stance," she reminded and I stood with my feet apart and knees slightly bent.

"The non-trigger hand under the fore-end and the other by the trigger. Put the butt against your shoulder."

I adjusted my hands and held it the correct way.

"Aim."

I pointed the tip of the muzzle at the red dot.

"Safety off and shoot."

I flipped the safety and pulled the trigger. The bullet landed just above the center target and I furrowed my eyebrows, lowering the rifle.

"It's your first day of training. You'll get there," Diamond encouraged me and I gave her a smile nodding.

She helped train me for hours before Sam walked in shouting that dinner is ready. I placed the rifle on the table and she reached a hand out, "C'mon."

I smiled and grabbed her hand as she led me out the training grounds in the basement of the mansion.

"You're eating with us, right?" she asked as we walked up the stairs.

"If you don't mind."

Our hands fitted together like it was made for each other as she pulled me to the dining room. When we arrived, one of the twins was there.

"Zach, what a surprise," I'm guessing it's Kristopher, judging from how monotone he sounded. I nodded and waved as we sat down and the other twin, Kristian and Sam took the seats opposite us.

Dinner was great, but what made it perfect was the beautiful fallen angel sitting next to me. The way she would gracefully accept the food given to her by her brother was just elegance in its true form.

If perfect was a human, I'd be staring at her right now. Her flaws made her even more down-to-earth and not on a pedestal, but I'd gladly put her on one.

Back to reality, Sam hugged Diamond, did a handshake so complicated even I had a hard time understanding it and said his goodbyes to the Estradas before leaving. The twins said 'good night' and headed up the stairs, leaving Diamond and I alone, standing in the foyer.

Without hesitation, I leaned in and captured her lips in mine, my hands finding their way to her waist. She wrapped her arms around my neck and pulled me down to deepen the kiss. I licked her bottom lip and she opened her mouth, allowing my tongue to freely explore.

Before we could go too far, she pulled away breathing slightly heavier. I leaned down and placed angel kisses on her closed eyelids.

"I have to go," I whispered, our foreheads resting against each other.

"I know."

I opened my eyes the same time she opened hers and I placed a kiss on her nose, "I'll come again tomorrow."

She nodded and unhooked her arms from my neck. I reluctantly removed my hands from her waist and turned around to step out the door. Before leaving, she pulled me by my collar and lightly pecked my cheek, "Good night."

I smiled and kissed her forehead, "Good night."

I shot her one more glance before walking down the path and towards my car that looked out of place in her neighborhood. The other houses were huge, but not as big as the mansion. The land the Estradas owned was enormous and that made me realized how rich they actually were.

Getting into my car, I glanced at the front door and saw it close before reaching to pull out my phone and sent a text, getting a reply almost instantly.

Definitely will. I'll meet you there, mwah.

I'm usually not into this mwah mwah thing, but she just makes me want to be extra affectionate with her. I wanted to show her to the world and shout from the top of my lungs who my girlfriend is.

But given how she has to stay low, I couldn't.
