Kay's POV:
The train screeched to a stop as the muffled loud speaker told us this was the Boston stop.
I got out quickly to get away from that creep that was sitting next to me.
I looked around and took a deep breath. This won't be so bad.
I spent that afternoon looking at places with this really nice lady. We'll she looked a few years older than me. Maybe eighteen but I thought it'd be polite to call her a woman.
"So which one was your favorite?" She asked.
"I really like the one next to the park if that's ok?" I said.
She gave me a friendly smile. "Why are you asking me? You're the one that's going to live there." She said as we both laughed.
"Well in that case I will have the apartment by the park. You said furniture and everything come with it right?" I asked.
"Yep! The couple that was selling it all the sudden got crazy rich and decided to move to North Carolina. Who would've thought? Not like Florida or California but North Carolina. Well I don't think I'll ever get to ask them why but that's ok." She said.
"Yeah." I said pondering over the thought of North Carolina. Home. Nash. Skylnn. Nash.
But they are too busy with other things apparently.
"So we just need you to fill out the paper work and you'll be all set!" She said smiling. Doesn't her cheek muscles ever get tired from smiling so much?
I signed on the line and felt a wave of reliefs rush through me.
"And since your not technically allowed to live on your own I'll need a parent signature. So we just have to have these by Friday and you're all set." She said as she got up to leave. "Bye! See you soon! And you can move in tonight if you want." She said exiting the coffee shop we were sitting at.
Great. I thought. Now I have only two days to forge a signature. All good.
Nash's POV:
"Next!" Jack called as one girl walked out in tears.
I can not believe he's doing this. He's having auditions for a girlfriend for me. I'm watching through a video camera and I send him yes no or maybe texts.
So far there have been a lot of no's.
Then one girl walked in and Jack just kind of stared at her for a moment. I think I saw hearts appear in his eyes.
"What's your name?" He asked pretending he was cool.
"I'm Alyss." She said.
"And why should you be Nash Grier's girlfriend?" He asked.
"Well. I've always been a big fan of the magcon boys, I'm not like every other fangirl who will just scream if they saw you, and I'm independent so I don't have to be with him at all hours. I know these are auditions and Nash is somewhere watching this. But I know I'm not going to be your real girlfriend and that's fine. But I...is the door closed?" She asked.
"Yes...?" Jack said glancing at the camera.
"I just want you to get Kay back from her uncle." she said.
I stood up and ran down to where they were. Jack just continued to stare.
"What and how do you know about Kay's uncle?" I bellowed making the poor girl jump.
"That part isn't important. What is, however, is that we get her back. And I want to." She said.
I glanced at Jack and he nodded seeming to trust her. "Alright. But one slip out and you're off and you can't tell anyone anything okay?" I said as she nodded.
Jack sent out a tweet saying he had found the perfect one for me and we could hear a bunch of disappointed "awws" coming from outside.
"So partners. What's the plan?" She said.
