Chapter Two: New People

The four boys headed over to where many exorcist surrounding the scene. The place was a broken in building with one bloody body covered over with a white drape.

"Well this is dreadful." Mephisto said walking up to the exorcist there.

"Sir Pheles, it is another one, and with the same cause of death sir."

"Oh dear this will not be good at all. Have there been any witnesses or anyone who suspects could be doing this?" Mephisto asked.

"No one, Sir. There wasn't even one who knows how this happened." The man answered, as a man ran up and stopped behind Mephisto. "Sir Pheles there is a new student who just got transferred to the academy." The teacher said handing Mephisto the files. "Can this wait?" he asked as he took the files. "No sir it said it was urgent." The man replied. "What could be so urgent?" Mephisto asked as he opened the file, and then started walking to a door.

He got a key, put the key into the keyhole, unlocks it, and opened the door. He walked in his office and sat down in his chair putting the files down on the desk. He looked at the file then set it down, "Well I don't believe what I am reading. Annie is back after five years, but something is not quite right." He said flipping through the files and came to a stop on a medical page. "That could be it."

There was a knock on the door to Mephisto's office, "You may enter." Mephisto replied swirling his right hand. The door opened as a blonde haired man with green eyes walked in, and had on an exorcist uniform color like coal grey. "Hello Sir Pheles I presume?" The man asked as Mephisto put the papers back into the file. "Yes, and you might be?" Mephisto asked looking up.

"My name is Carcer Miles. I currently, have been put in charge of surveillance of your school, because of the gory incidents. It has come to my attention that it targets anyone with white or light colored hair and blue eyes only." Carcer explained as Mephisto picked up Amaimon who was a green hamster.

"So, I guess that means you will be watching the students here at my academy then?" He replied when Carcer turned to leave. "Yes that is correct, goodbye Sir Pheles." Carcer slammed the door behind him. "Humph, how rude." Mephisto said putting Amaimon on the desk.

The bell chimed for second block class, as Annahime got her new books for her classes. She looked at the agenda her homeroom teacher had given her, when it slipped out of her hands. She went to go pick the agenda up as Ryuji Suguro picked it up and handed it to her.

"Oh, thank you." Annahime replied taking the agenda.

"Welcome, are you new here?" Suguro asked her, "Yes I just transferred here. Um, if it isn't too much trouble to ask for where this class is?" Annahime asked him. "Oh, you're in my last class we can walk together." Suguro replied as Annahime smiled. "Thank you, and my name is Annahime."

"Aren't you going to be late for our last class?" Yukio said walking up. Yukio had on a True Cross Academy uniform on, and had dark brown hair that almost covered his glasses and blue eyes. "Well we have a person who needs to get to her first class." Suguro said as they all started walking tot class.

"Oh is she the transfer from Germany?" Yukio asked. "Yes I am." Annahime answered as they all walked into class.

School ended Annahime waved goodbye to Suguro and Yukio, as she turned a corner. It was late afternoon when she noticed a skeleton key on the ground, so without any hesitation she picked it up.

"I wonder who this belongs to?" she said, as a flash of lost memory went through her head suddenly. She grabbed the top of her head with her hand, as her eyes squenched in pain.

"What...was that?" she thought to herself. "The little dog... that Rin had...I've seen it before today." Annahime started walking down the street to her surprise Carcer walked passed her. Annahime got an unsettling feeling around him and walked a bit faster.

She got to her dorm and entered her dorm room. "It's only one room?" she said putting her bags down. She put away her clothing into the drawers organizing other accessories. She finally sat down at her new desk that looked out through a window for a beautiful view of the sun setting.

It was nighttime and she had gotten all of her homework done, and made lunch for tomorrow putting it in the freezer. She walked back upstairs to her dorm room, and opened the door. She closed the door, put on her black tank top, purple and black bobbled pajama bottoms on, and sat down on the bed. Annahime soon fell asleep.

Mephisto was outside her window standing on a pillar, with Amaimon on his shoulder as a hamster.

"You still are worrying about this human big brother? Why do you care for these things so much?" Amaimon asked as Mephisto answered, "It's something you wouldn't understand Amaimon." He started. "I remember when I was first being transferred over to the Japan branch here." He said jumping down and walking on the street. "As I recall it was five years ago when I first was assigned to take care of little Annie."
