To sum things up: my parents basically made the principal hate Drea's Last Words even more.
Aidan was off the hook, but the rest of us were constantly being watched through office doors. School truly felt like prison.
We went home and tried our third warning in Josh's garage. We were going to cover The Ghost of You by My Chemical Romance, Carter's song choice. As they set their instruments up and I watched in silence, I wondered what the school would do about it. Would they really kick us out?
" Ready?" Carter asked. I nodded, standing up and taking my place.
As the guys started playing and Josh started singing, I joined him, letting our voice mix into something beautiful to honor My Chemical Romance's name. I hoped the subscribers would appreciate our effort.
After we finished singing and Carter got emotional, we went to the living room to upload the cover. Drea was watching TV and as soon as we joined her, she left.
" How's you're sister?" Phillip asked Josh.
" Recovering. She's pretty shy. And quiet. My parents are hoping her therapy sessions help." He said.
" That's good," Phillip said, uploading our video to YouTube. Immediately after the wait, it froze at 300 views.
" Woah. We broke the internet!" Carter said, raising his hands.
And then we got a phone call from our beautiful school. Josh answered and told us that we were requested in the office first thing tomorrow morning.
That sounded very familiar.
We left Josh's house, Carter and I discussing ways they would kick us out. And possible jobs we could get. Perhaps at Hot Topic as scene kids.
We fell asleep in the living room, looking sort of miserable the next day as we walked inside the school building.
Phillip was the last one in the office, he was extremely late actually, but he carried himself a nice McDonald's breakfast. If he was going to get kicked out, may as well make it memorable.
" We need to call Aidan," The principal said.
" He's not with us anymore-"
" I don't care," He growled, making an announcement for Aidan to come to the office.
Five minutes later, he walked into the room and sat beside us, looking more scared than mad.
" Kids, I told you three times, three different times, to stop or you would be facing serious consequences. And right now, I would be kicking all of you out, except that I can't because all of you are leaving," He said.
" What?" Josh was the first to ask.
" I'll let you know in ten minutes," The principal sighed.
Twelve minutes later, a man I have never seen before walked into the office. He had tattoos running down both of his arms, his ears were stretched, and his curly brown hair was tied back into one of those super beautiful man buns.
" Drea's Last Words," He said.
Despite his rough appearance, he had a really soothing voice. " I've come to whisk you out of the Carolina's to take you with me to LA. and sign with Sober Records, where you will record your debut album and possibly tour the country," He said. " I know it's early, but you've had so many record labels keeping their eye on you. I just happened to make the first move," He smiled.
We looked at each other and Carter started screaming. I joined him, both of us getting up and hugging each other as Phillip and Josh joined. Aidan came in last and the principal watched warily as we screamed in his office.
