I woke up, pushing a snoring Aidan off of me. He became really clingy when he slept. I found it kind of adorable.
As soon as he was off of me, I reached for my phone, surprised that everyone had slept the entire day away. I was also glad that my hair was no longer oily. Showers and beds were amazing.
" Wake up," I said, nudging Aidan's cheek.
He groaned and moved away, sitting up and fixing his hair with his hands. I realized he had wavy hair.
" You straighten your hair everyday?" I asked.
He nodded, ruining my good mood as he got up and retrieved his hair straightener and walked into the bathroom.
I got dressed as quickly as I could and tied my hair back before leaving the room. Aidan was taking too long to do his hair.
" Hey," Phillip said, walking out of his room. He no longer looked tired.
" Hey, do you know where the kitchen is?" I asked as my stomach growled.
" I think so," He said before we walked down the hall, hoping we'd end up in the kitchen. " Did you and Aidan share a room last night?" He asked.
The question sounded weird and felt like an accusation. " I guess," I said.
" Was he moody when he woke up?"
" Yes."
" He likes you."
Okay... " How do you know?" I asked.
" Because that's his way of saying he didn't want to leave-"
" Shut up," I said.
He laughed and we found ourselves in the kitchen.
" Why does Gavin own such a huge house for just him and his wife?" Phillip asked as we grabbed an apple and ate it.
" He probably brings all his side chicks in here," I said. " And since the house is so big, they never cross paths with his wife," I said as Carter and Josh joined us.
They took an apple and started eating.
" So what are we doing today?" Josh asked.
" Apparently an interview," Carter said, rolling his eyes.
Aidan joined us a while later and took a seat beside me. Carter gave him an apple to munch on.
" Remember a few months ago when we were in Josh's kitchen, encouraging him to eat an apple?" Carter asked, looking at all of us.
" That doesn't feel like a few months ago," Josh said. " Everything's changed, but whatever. If we're doing an interview, is there anything we should keep to ourselves?"
We all looked at Aidan. " Oh... Uh... I don't think there's anything to hide, really. Maybe just the parts where we did cocaine behind the school," he said, rolling his eyes. " This band is lame."
" Agreed," Carter mocked. " We really need some marijuana or something to spice us up. Isn't marijuana the same thing as crack?"
Phillip laughed. " Marijuana and crack?"
Gavin walked in as we started debating which drug sounded funner to use.
" Thanks for making me regret waking up," He said. " Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed your sleep day, we should be able to make it to the radio interview by 2. So have breakfast, unpack your shoes and instruments. Settle in. What's mine is yours, and I have a lot of stuff," He laughed. " The house is really huge. I have a tennis court, a pool, a theater room, a library, a um... I don't even know anymore. Go find out yourselves. Just be ready by 2. You might want to discuss what's acceptable to say and what isn't. Make a good impression on the world, leave people wanting to check you guys out. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a few phone calls to make. Feel free to wonder around," He said.
" Gavin is so daddy," Carter said.
We all laughed before splitting up and doing our own thing. I called my mom and dad who were pleased to hear me, and then they caught me up on local news.
Josh's sister, Drea, had ran away.
