After all of the guys left and I spent time with Gerard and my parents, I checked my phone and saw our followers and subscribers spreading like some sort of virus.

Bad comparison but...

" Are you hungry?" My mom asked, peeking into my room. I shook my head, setting my phone down. " Are you waiting for dinner with your boyfriend?" She added.

I blushed, knowing this was coming. The asshole was eavesdropping.

" He's sweet," She smiled. " I can tell he likes you."

" You're embarrassing me..." I said.

" You know it. Have you two made official plans yet?" She asked as I picked up my phone and checked my messages.

The band chat was moving fast. I stopped smiling and tried to make out messages.

HE'S IN THE HOSPITAL. - Phillip

WHICH ONE? - Aidan

" Wait what?" I said out loud before reading the conversation.

I DONT FUCKING KNOW, ALL I HEARD WAS THAT THEY CRASHED, HIS PARENTS ARE IN SERIOUS CONDITIONS. - Phillip

Who crashed?! I sent.

JOSH! They both replied.

My heart sunk.

" Josh's family got in a wreck," I said as her smile fell and I showed her the messages.

Words like coma, hospital, blood and injuries made me cringe and I thought about Josh lying in a hospital bed, pale and broken.

I FOUND HIM - Carter

He sent the address and I showed it to my mom, asking if she could take us. I made sure Gerard was sleeping before we grabbed my dad and left.

As soon as we got through the hospital doors, I saw Aidan and Phillip sitting together. Their parents were talking to each other and mine respectfully joined the conversation.

" Have you guys seen him yet?" I asked. They both shook their heads as I sat beside them.

" Should we pray?" Phillip asked.

" I'm not into that, but you two can go ahead," Aidan said before getting up and leaving. Phillip looked at me and pouted.

" I'm not religious either," I said.

He nodded and bowed his head. His dark brown hair fell over his eyes, making him look tired.

I felt horrible. Was this my fault?

Aidan came back with Carter a few minutes later. We sat in silence and waited. We waited for three hours but no one with a clipboard approached us. I was falling asleep. I leaned on Carter and dozed off to the sound of Phillip murmuring to himself. Finally, a tall man with a stethoscope approached us and asked if we were Josh's friends. We nodded before Phillip asked about the Cartel family.

" We have good news and bad news." The doctor, whose badge read Thompson, said.

Oh no. Stereotypes never end well.

" Mr. Cartel's parents are fine, other than a few cuts and bruises. His mother needs surgery to remove a piece of glass, but it's nothing bad," He said.

" The bad news?" Carter asked.

" Joshua seems to have broken his right wrist at an... Unrepairable angle."
