Snotlout's POV:

"Alright, that's three islands off the list. Next is Outcast Island." I stated. We'd finished off the smaller islands, but there was no sign of Hiccup. Despite Hiccup and I not getting along all the time, I still cared about him, so I felt a trace of worry growing in the pit of my gut.

"Okay, time to see Alvin and the Outcasts! Who's excited?" Tuffnut enthused. "I am!" Ruffnut answered, with just as much enthusiasm. "I wasn't asking you, Butt-Elf!"

"You asked 'Who's excited?' and I answered you!" Ruffnut snapped. "Well, I was talking to Snotlout and Hookfang--"

Oh Gods, I thought as they continued arguing and head-butting each other. Why was I paired up with these muttonheads?

. . .

"So you haven't seen him?" I asked exasperatedly.

"No, 'm 'fraid not, lad. I'll keep an eye out for 'im." Alvin answered, scratching his beard. Great.

"Thanks, Alvin. Come on, you two." I addressed the twins now, who were once again bickering over something. Gods know what it was this time.

"Who put you in charge?" Ruffnut asked, stopping in her tracks. "Well, I don't see you taking the initiative here!" I retorted, climbing onto Hookfang's back.

"I would, if this guy right here--"

"Oh my Thor! I'm leaving you two!" I nudged Hookfang, and we flew away. Sadly, the twins followed a minute later. Shame. I wouldn't have minded leaving them there.

Okay. Dragon Island, here we come.
