"Number Zero has shown improvement in her mind reading capabilities. Soon enough, she'll be able to use people's minds against themselves. However, the ear bleeding hasn't gone away," -Reginald Hargreeves.
Zero's POV
Five spatial jumped us back to the academy. I was limping against him. He was a little upset with me because I hadn't told him about the bullet, but I explained that I didn't think it was that bad. He held Delores in a bag against his back as we trudged up the stairs. My face was starting to look quite pale, as I felt my energy dissipating. When we made it to the top of the stairs, we ran into Alison and Luther.
"Five? Syd? What the hell happened to you two?" Alison asked. Concern lacing into her voice.
Luther made direct eye contact with me, "Are you both okay? Can we help?" Luther began to grab me, no doubt to help me lie down but Five stopped his hand.
"There's nothing you can do. There's nothing any of you can do."
I laughed deliriously, "Preach, Five. I'm feeling a bit tired myself, so if someone could catch me, that would be splendid."
They all looked confused at each other until I collapsed, Five caught me before I hit the ground.
Alison demanded, "What's wrong with her? You can't lie to us, Five."
My eyes were slowly closing. Five answered finally, "She was shot."
Alison whimpered, "Oh my god! We need to save her, right Luther?"
Luther surprisingly answered quite quickly, "Right, I'll call Diego."
I laughed and spat up blood, "Diego's mad at you, Luthy. Better have Alison call him. Or, Mom's around here somewhere. Now I'm going to sleep."
"No Syd! Keep your eyes open," Five cried.

I woke up to a shining bright light. I opened my eyes, trying to focus them, until they focused onto one, Reginald Hargreeves.
"Dad?" I asked. He held the same stern expression he always had when we were kids, "What, where am I?"
"You are in the after life, Number Zero," Dad explained. He was sitting on a park bench in a field of flowers, wearing a usual suit. I looked down at a black dress, I wore.
"I'm dead?" I asked, with tears in my eyes.
He chuckled for the first time ever, "Of course not, Zero. You are here to expand your powers."
I looked at him confused, "And, what's that supposed to mean?"
"It means that you are finally touching into your true potential."
"Uh, forgive me if I don't understand what the hell you're talking about."
He glanced at me with his overly judgemental eyes, "Night vision, shadow jumping, mind control? Those ring any bells?"
I nodded, "Yeah, but what does that have to do with you? I figured it on my own."
He smiled, "Yes you did. Including mediumship. I have a little word of advice: Stay with Five."
My eyebrows raised as I was confused about his words, "Uh, huh. What are you alluding to?"
He cleaned his monocle, "There are a lot of things I learned in the time I trained you. One of them being, you and Five grow with one another."
I nodded my head very slowly, "And, can you elaborate?"
"For some reason, Five enhances your powers."
