"Number Zero has never not thought of herself as a monster, there's no way with what I make her do, that it's going to change it. In fact, it will worsen it,"-Reginald Hargreeves.

Five's POV

The tires screeched against the street as I pulled up to the academy. Despite my little emotional outburst back in the cabin, I'd say I'm doing good. Good-ish. I'm sorry if I can't be stable when the love of my life is bleeding profusely out of every crevice in her face. I had no idea what could cause this power drainage, all I knew, it wasn't good.

"Come on! Let's go!" I called out, trying to get Alison and Sydney they helped they needed, and quick.

Luther was very scared for the fate of Alison. "I don't think she's breathing," He warbled.

Klaus and I lifted Sydney up, trailing behind Luther's big frame. Diego whipped up the gates and led us inside.

"If we don't get them upstairs, they'll both die," Klaus cried, a worried expression lingering on his face. It's nice to see him caring about both, not just about Alison- cough, cough, Luther.

Alison lay flat on the operation table, neck completely bloody. She looked so calm, which was majorly unsettling. How could someone be so calm and so close to death?

"She's suffered a sever laceration to her larynx," Mom explained, as I held my hands to her throat to stop the bleeding. Mom had put Syd on a chair, saying that Alison was going to die if we didn't deal with her first. Of course, I couldn't argue with that. Klaus was watching over her for me.

"One of you will have to give blood."

"I will," We all said in unison. A determined look resting on each of our faces.

Luther gave another, very determined, "I will."

To which Pogo responded with, "I'm afraid that's not possible, dear boy. Your blood is more compatible with mine." Syd would've thought that was funny...what am I talking about? She's not dead, just slightly unconscious.

A distraught look appeared on Luther's face- I had to hold back a laugh.

Klaus noticed this, "Hey, don't sweat it. I-I got this, big guy. I-I love needles." Klaus threw his arm out and began patting the inner part of it.

"Master Klaus. Your blood is...How shall I say this? Too polluted." Klaus frowned, and retreated back to Syd.

"Move," Diego said, standing next to mom.

Luther patted Diego on the back, "Yeah, go on."

"I'll do it."

Mom set the needle up, and with one look at it, Diego gave out a small whimper and fainted. Now, Syd would also find that funny.

"Whoa! No!" Klaus cried, watching Diego fall hard onto the floor.

Pogo nodded and instructed mom to, "stick him."

Alison, after surgery was now resting safe and sound. It was time for us to draw our attention to Syd. She was resting against the operation table, covered in blood. I muffled back a sob, drawing the attention of Diego. He didn't do much, (which I appreciated) he just held a hand to my shoulder. It was his way of saying 'everything's gonna be alright'. I sure hoped it would.

Pogo looked at her with a frown, "This is what your father always feared. Sydney cannot take too much stress or noise onto her mind, which caused her to bleed out. She'll be alright, any-longer and she'd be completely braindead. Our best course of attention is to unclog everything."
