"Number Zero's weakness? I could think of many: her connection with her 'siblings' is one, the thrill of murder, waffles (she really likes waffles). The biggest is one is her mind. If someone could figure out the right frequency to play, she'd be useless. It's uncertain if she'd die, but she would be lying on the ground with blood pooling out of her ears, nose, mouth, and eyes,"-Reginald Hargreeves (Private notebook, not seen by anyone?)

Zero's POV

Alison and I entered inside the car, driving as quick as possible. It was dark, very dark, almost too dark. I wasn't sure when it turned to night, but it just made me more on edge than before. I had a bad feeling, I had an awful feeling. My head was ringing more than it had ever. Why? Now that I mention it, Dad did say something about a certain frequency being 'ear-splitting'. But, whatever, all to save Vanya.

As we got to the cabin, everything was rocking. It seem to be rocking alongside the sound of a violin. Shit, Vanya. This...it couldn't be. Alison looked to me, which was just me giving her a shrug in return.

The wind whistled, which shook the lights, and the rocking chair. I clenched my head slightly- I could power through, I'd have to. Alison gave the entire cabin weird looks.

"Vanya?" She shouted, "Is that you?"

"I can't help but say it, I'm starting to hate the violin. It's making everything so cold and windy," I said. Alison ignored me.

Alison looked through every window until getting to the front door. I took a deep breath, and entered with Alison.

"Vanya, there you are. What is going on?"

Vanya did not look pleased, "What are you two doing here?" I gave her a very toothy smile in return.

"We came to find you. Are you okay?"

Vanya blinked a few times, "Yeah." Well...that was unexpected. 'Yeah', I was hoping a little more terrified for a woman dating a psychopath.

"There's something...weird going on. What's causing it?"

Vanya stood up straight, and for the first time ever, she seemed confident, "Me." My eyes widened as I had not seen this plot twist coming.

Alison's eyebrows snapped together- she wasn't understanding, "What do you mean 'me'?"

"I mean...I made those things happen. With my powers. Turns out I've had them all this time. It's weird, huh?" Vanya explained. I had to resist the urge to give her a high-five. I was just so proud.

Alison shook her head and let out a small gasp, "It's in-incredible." Was it Alison?

'She-she, has powers? I-how is this even possible? Sh-she needs to know about Harold, she has to,' Alison thought to herself. Yes, how was it possible?

"But?"

"Ca-can we do this in the car?" Alison insisted, her inner monologue filling with worry.

"Yeah, the car is nice and warm, and not freezing cold, thanks to the magic wind," I chimed in. No one laughed. I avoided eye contact.

"Why?"

Alison sighed, "You're not gonna want to hear it."

Vanya shrugged her shoulders, "Well, that's never stopped you before."

'Ouch,' I thought, 'Tell us how you really feel, Vanny.'

Alison let out a shaky sigh, "Leonard Peabody? His real name is Harold Jenkins." Silence ensued the room. I had some really good jokes, but it felt like the absolute wrong time.
