"I'm shocked whenever Number and Zero are separated. They are the only two members in the academy that I personally pair together. They make each other better, and bounce ideas off one another. So of course, it was a shame when Number Five went missing,"-Reginald Hargreeves

Zero's POV

The rain poured and the lighting grumbled outside, as Alison and I drove along. She hadn't said a word, and neither had I. I was too shocked- Five was injured, Diego was in jail, Vanya was in danger, and I hadn't seen Luther or Klaus all day. I was snapped out of my thoughts as Alison's thoughts were very noisy.

'I heard a rumour I made the soccer team.' Her thoughts said. They continued with statements like this.

'I heard a rumour you wanna be my friend.'

'I heard a rumour you like broccoli.'

'I heard a rumour you left me alone.'

'I heard a rumour that you stopped crying.'

'I heard a rumour I did it in one take.'

'I heard a rumour I'm perfect for this role.'

'I heard a rumour that you love me.'

'I heard a rumour that you think you were always in this family.' And there it was. The Handler had told me about this.

Alison eyes dripped down a few tears as she began to accelerate. Her face looked determined, she wasn't about to let Vanya fall prey to this Mr. Harold. I closed my eyes as the Alison kept driving.

As I opened my eyes, it was now day. How long had we been driving for? We seemed to be in some sort of wooded area. Alison kept driving along. I heard birds singing and the river babbled. We came to Jenkins' grandmother's cabin and Alison shut off the car.

"Had a nice sleep?" She asked.

I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes, "Not really, I'm worried for...well...everybody."

"Even Luther?"

I tilted my head, "I wouldn't go that far."

Alison laughed and we both got out of the car. The mailbox was labeled Jenkins, which meant this was the correct address. Alison double-checked the file before continuing. She looked around before moving closer to the house. I heard only one person, which was of course Alison.

"Ally, I think we're good. I can't hear anyone else." She nodded.

She and I ducked around until getting to the entrance of the cabin. She peered in each window, not seeing any evidence of foul behaviour. And no, not...you know. Foul behaviour as in murder. I stifled back a yawn, this was going to be a long trip. I wonder what Five was up to.

Five's POV      [It's been almost thirty chapters and I've never written in Five's POV]

I woke up from a long slumber which was obviously due to the fact I had a shrapnel wound. Or, maybe someone drugged me, I don't know. All I do know, is that I needed a cup of coffee.

I wandered downstairs, missing the feeling of Syd's hand. Where was she? Training perhaps? I heard the obnoxious voice of Klaus, "Here we go. This'll fix ya."

He began pouring Luther a cup of coffee. Luther looked awful but I needed this coffee more than him. I snatched the cup out of his hand and took a sip.
