After the two broke the kiss they stared into each other's eyes, simply admiring each other. The two knew what they did was strange, and there was a sense of awkwardness around them.

"We- we shouldn't be doing this." Jeno said quietly. "We're both guys. It's wrong. It's weird." his eyes had sadness in them. Jaemin stood there in silence, unable to come up with something to say.

"Is it weird? Surely people can love who they love, right?" Jaemin said, hoping to calm the younger boy down.

"I know, but we're just friends, and we're the same gender. It's not natural." Jeno said, tears formed in his eyes. It pained him to push the younger away, after he had finally gotten close. Jaemin caressed the head of the older boy.

"Now, who's told you that. They're wrong. People can love who they love. It doesn't matter what the person identify as, as long as there is a mutual love for each other who cares what the others think." Jaemin said as Jeno's tears fell as he hugged the younger tightly.

"My... my father would always push that boys loving boys was wrong." Jeno cried into Jaemin's chest. The poor boy was scared of what his father would say. He was scared to be left alone in a would that wouldn't accept him for who he was. "What if he leaves?" Jeno questioned. If his father left, he would be alone. There would be no family for him to go to.

"Hey, hey. He's not going to leave you. You don't even have to tell him right away. You can tell him when you're ready." Jaemin reassured the older boy, playing with his hair gently. The two stayed like that for a while, admiring each other and the rainless night sky. It seemed the stars had only shone brighter since the two confessed.
