The full moon was a day away, Ari was dreading it, they had both gotten a bottle of wolfsbane so they wouldn't have to change, but Remus was getting moody, Ari didn't have that problem because she was always moody, so it didn't affect her too much. But Remus was very easily agitated.
Ari went over to Remus while he was having a conversation with Sirius. "Good morning handsome," she said, looking at him, he didn't say anything and just walked away, leaving her there. She walked after him and asked him what was wrong, "for gods sake Ari can you just leave me alone for one second! Honestly it's getting annoying. It pisses me off just looking at you." He shouted. Making her heart sink. She dropped something on the floor and ran off crying. Remus had not felt too guilty about what he had said Until he picked up the thing she dropped at his feet.
He picked up a picture frame with a photo of them both in it, that she had painted, she had engraved the wood of the frame with details and patterns that looked beautiful. The glass had cracked right over her face. Only his visible.
Ari had run to her room to find her lighter, she went to the bathroom, locking the door behind her, she undid her jeans, rolling them down, burning the skin on her thighs with her lighter. Felling the pain made her tear up even more. Making it easier for her to cry.
What if I'm not good enough? What if he doesn't love me, I mean it wouldn't surprise me, no one really does, he's better off without me, hell everyone is.
She thought before putting her wand to her head,
"Crucio" she said, falling to the floor, the lighter slid to the other side of the room.
~~Remus POV~~
I've really screwed up this time, I have to find her he thought. He put the picture on the table and ran to her room, he frantically knocked on the door... no answer. He began to worry even more, he opened the door and found the room empty.
He turned around to see Ron at the door, he looked just as worried as him, "I- I saw her go into the bathroom, she hasn't come out since," he said, on the verge of tears, Remus looked at him with a scared expression. He ran to the bathroom door and started hitting it violently, "Ari!" He yelled "ARI OPEN THÉ DOOR" he started to cry. "ARI I DIDNT MEAN ANY OF WHAT I SAID!"
No answer.
He grabbed his wand "alohamora" he said shakily. He ran into the room, seeing her body on the floor, wand in hand, jeans half down, he saw the burns on her thighs. He picked her up and ran downstairs, yelling for help. "Put her on the couch!" yelled molly. "She's still breathing, barely but she is" she added. "She needs serious rest," Arthur said. "I'll take her upstairs" said Remus. "No I will, you've done enough," said Sirius.
Sirius came back downstairs after putting he I to her bed. "I found this in her drawer." He said. Throwing a pack of opened cigarettes onto the table. Remus, molly and Sirius all looked at each other, they all wore the same worried expression. "Where's the lighter?" Asked Remus. "We don't know," said Arthur, joint in the conversation. "I'll go look," molly said.
Ten minutes later molly returned downstairs with the lighter in hand. "Here." She said, handing it to Remus. The look of his face turned from sorrow into anger. He was angry at himself for snapping at her. "What the hell even happened?" Asked molly, sounding angry. "She ça-" remus started to say as Sirius cut him off "she came downstairs and gave him and hug and he just walked off, so she went to see if he was okay and he said, quote on quote 'for gods sake Ari can you not leave me alone for one second! Honestly it's getting annoying. It pisses me off just looking at you' that's what he said, it sent to poor girl crying, and she dropped this too.. she spent 35 hours on that, just for you as a present but you broke it!" He began to yell. "Does she know?" Molly said, trying to calm Sirius down by talking about something a little different. "Yeh, she does. She's one too." They all looked between themselves and then back at Remus, who was now sobbing. "I'm sorry Remus, I didn't mean to shout, she's the o it family I've got left." Said Sirius. This caused everyone to look at him with confusion. "That's something else I need to talk to you all about." He added.
