3rd person pov:

"Captain n/n, hurry and grab your squad. Titans have been seen trying to infiltrate the walls!" Hange yelled, running down the halls.

Your heart started to race as this was your first mission as a captain. It caused you to remain still in the long hallway.

"Hey, get moving unless you want to be demoted!" Hannes said, brushing by you.

"Right!" You replied, racing toward the dining hall were everyone had been eating breakfast. The captains and commanders had eaten earlier that day, due to a meeting they had just recently gotten out of.

"Reiner, Bertolt, let's go, now!" You yelled into the hall, racing down toward the barn.

You heard the two tall men following quickly behind you.

The three of you than made it to the barn and placed the saddles on your horses as fast as you could. Than, in unison, you mounted the horses and raced off towards the front of the building.

"Get into positions, and move forward at high speeds!" Erwin yelled, encouraging you all to move forward.

What was the matter of seconds felt like years as you raced through town and to the gate. You could hear every little sound as your horse galloped on the stone roads. The voices of people, asking what was happening. The drop of the jaw as the kids gaped as you galloped by. The noise of the heavy breathing and heart beasts around you. Everything was so in detail, it felt like a dream.

What made you snap back into reality was the sound of the lever dropping. You knew that you were one of the people who had to immediately go over the wall and charge. The goal you had to achieve was to stop the titans from entering the wall and leading them away from the entrance. This than allowed the gate to be dropped, and the rest of the soldiers to enter without casualties.

"Stay here, you now listen to Commander Erwin." You shouted before being lifted into the air by a rectangular gate.

The two boys nodded at you before gripping the reins of their horses tightly.

Your breathing began to increase as it felt like centuries to get over the wall. But when the moment finally came, it all went by in milliseconds.

The ODM gear allowed you go swing around, leading the titans toward you, and away from the gate. You had three 10 meter titans and one 4 meter titan chasing after you.

You would swoop around them, and in front of them to keep them interested. Levi and a few of his members were following your lead.

Moments later the other soldiers had entered, signifying you to return to your horses. The group of you sped back and mounted them, riding toward the forest.

You all were a good 200 meters in front of the titans as you rode towards the forest. As you hit the forest everyone split off. This gave you the opportunity to take on less titans, and make your overall job easier.

You, Reiner and Bertolt led 2 titans towards the left side of the forest. You all dismounted your horses and jumped into the air, soaring with your ODM gear.

The three of you flew through the woods, bouncing from tree to tree. Your eye than caught sight of a titan ahead so you threw an arm into the air, and yelled, "Titan, straight ahead! I got it! Titan straight ahead!" You repeated it a few times for the others till they could see it as well.

The sharp blades became visible as you slid them out. A strong push off of a branch and a hook from your ODM gear latched onto the titans neck sending you forward. You took a wide turn before gliding above the titans nape. The blades dug deeply into it's skin, causing it to fall.

"Forward, Forward! It's dead!" You shouted again, slowing your pace slightly so the others could catch up.

Your stomach began to whirl as you felt something was about to go wrong. Maybe it was the bagel I ate this morning, or that weird tea Levi made me drink. You tried to convince yourself, knowing it was pointless.

Than Bertolt yelled from behind you, "to your left, slightly ahead!" A 13 meter titan emerged from the woods, racing toward you.

You clenched your blades and shouted once again, "I got it! Move behind me quickly!" The gear snatched its way into the titans shoulder, making you get an awkward angle on it. Your blades then collided with its neck, but it wasn't enough.

Terror filled your body as you saw Reiners left leg being held by the titan. Your heart sank to your stomach faster than a rock hitting the ground.

Your immediate reaction was to help him, and that is exactly what you did. You smashed your swords into its neck, allowing the grip to become loose on the blonde mans leg. Grabbing onto the bloody man, you lifted him onto a thick tree branch.

"It's okay, just breathe. Everything will be okay." You said, not sure if you were trying to reassure him or yourself. You ripped your belt off and tightened it above the wound on his upper thigh. You than ripped a part of your long sleeve off and wrapped it around the oozing blood. His ankle also seemed to be twisted, so you tried to slowly guide it back into place. Then, Bertolt landed on the same branch, looking shocked at the wounds his friend had suffered.

"Quick, wrap his ankle in this." You said, ripping your other sleeve off.

The man nodded and did as you commanded. In that moment you hopped onto a branch slightly ahead and switched out your blades.

"Right now is a good opportunity. You know she will be trouble in the future." Bertolt said.

"No!" Reiner said, gripping the other guys collar. "First of all i'm injured, so that wouldn't help, and two we can use her to get more information."

Bertolt nodded, slipping Reiners sock and boot back on.

"All set captain, are you alright?" Reiner shouted, wincing in pain.

You nodded before speaking, "we have to return quickly. We are late." You hopped back over and lifted Reiner, slipping your hand under his arms. "Hold on tight, and maneuver at the same pace." You said, as the three of you all went forward.

After a few minutes of soaring, you finally caught sight of many people sitting on their horses, looking around.

You landed on the ground and helped Reiner mount his horse before getting on yours.

"You're late and a cadet of yours seems to be injured." Erwin said, glaring at you.

"Yes sir, I see that." You mumbled, struggling to meet his eyes.

"Commander it was my fault, I should of-" Reiner was cut off by your angered voice.

"NO! It was my fault. Please sir, let me take responsibility as the captain and punish me however you like when we get back." You pleaded, your eyes now met with his.

"Very well, we will discuss what happened afterwards." He said, leading the group back home safely.
