3rd person pov:

With these thoughts lingering in your mind, you failed to pay attention to the rest of the meeting. Everyone had even gotten up and left, and you still sat there. You're body began to tremble, and you smashed your fists against the wood table.

"Again! This always happens." You shouted, breathing heavily. Your two hands were placed on the table as you lent over it. Anger had consumed your body.

As you spouted out words, you finally exited the office, heading to your room. Once you returned you yet again packed your bags. Another expedition, another day you would loose comrades.

-next day-

Everyone had raced around that day, preparing for the new expedition. It was one day till it, and that night you were all given a feast. It had included lots of meat, which was rare. The view lightened everyone's mood as they feasted.

Sitting by yourself, you could hear one of the cadets, Sasha Braus, cheering loudly. She stuffed her face full of the meat, crying of happiness.

A small smile came to your mouth as you played with your food. You just stared down at your plate, for once, not being hungry.

"Captain, would you like to be accompanied?" The Commander suddenly asked. Your eyes rose to the man who held his plate with his one hand. A quick nod signaled the man to sit a long side you. "Never seen you not hungry." He said, nudging you.

You failed to reply, causing him to ask you more questions. Again and again you didn't answer. This whole time you were just struggling to speak. Words wanted to come out, but they just didn't. Erwin eventually stopped asking and just ate his meal.

You pushed your plate towards him and exited that hall. You're not quite sure what has happened to you, but everything just felt sad. Usually, emotions like this didn't take such a large impact, especially not in front of others.

Making your way to your room, you found the door. Slipping inside quickly, you plopped onto your bed. Your back lay on the cold blankets, causing you to shiver. You just stared blankly at the ceiling, wishing this was all a dream. You started to think about the possible outcomes of this expedition, not really sure what would actually happen. Clenching your fist, you made a promise to yourself. I won't let my comrades have a pathetic death. I will protect them, even if it costs me my own. I must keep the titans out of the walls, and kill every single one I see. You pledged.

A knock rang on the door, and Erwin entered the room. "Y/n?"
Heavy eyelids started to fall over your eyes. Realizing this, you pulled yourself under the covers, and fell asleep.

-next night-

The bright moon gleamed down on everybody. The horses and soldiers shared small noises amongst each other. Your eyes rose as you heard the commander giving out demands. The large group than dispersed into smaller ones.

Pulling your horse forward you stopped by his side. "Excuse me sir, where will I be?" You asked, holding onto the horses reins.

"You will be with Levi the whole time. He will explain the plan and any further changes if necessary. Please be safe." He replied, hopping onto his large horse.

Everything was now set in motion, and we started to move. The goal of tonight was to reach the Shiganshina District and have have Eren use his titan abilities to seal the hole in the wall. You were excited to see Eren in motion again after he has been struggling recently after the fight with the three other human titans. Hange invited you to come watch her experiments frequently, and you always left speechless.

It was dawn by the time you arrived and Eren transformed into his titan. The yellow bolt of lightening smashed into the ground and he grew. He than sat near the hole and started to harden himself. This is amazing! I never knew a titan could harden so much of their body. You thought.

Your thoughts were interrupted by multiple shocks of lightening ringing your ears. You quickly turned to see the Beast Titan as well as many other tall titans transforming. Your jaw dropped, quickly finding Levi, as he was in charge of you. It took you a few minutes to find the small man who was hidden in the crowd.

"Captain, what do we do? What is happening?" You asked, trying to keep your cool.

"N/n, you are going to follow behind me." He replied. His grey cold stare was fixated on the Beast Titan, who stood in the middle of the U shaped titans.

"You're going to kill him." You answered, following his gaze.

"Yes, now kill any titan that I fail to kill. Leave the Beast Titan for me." Levi demanded, grabbing onto his blades.

Nodding, you watched as the soldiers took their positions. You felt uneasy at the stomach as you saw them start to charge. You easily picked out Erwin, who was firing off smoke signals, and yelling at his peers.

"Please be safe." You mumbled, hopping over the titans as Levi killed one after another. The ODM gear carried the two of you efficiently around and you quickly made it to the Beast Titan. This was your que to leave, and you did. You used your gear to latch onto the dead titans, and towards your horse that found its way to you. Mounting the horse you raced for the group that was running at the titans.

"Duck!" You yelled to a cadet, who was riding. He dropped his head as a rock flew over him. He nodded before continuing to ride forward. Your horse quickly caught up and you were in the formation with the other soldiers. This had gone against the rules since you were supposed to wait for Levi to finished, but you wanted to protect the people, like you promised.

Your e/c eyes fell onto a red haired boy who had just fallen off of his horse. Quickly, Kage guided you towards his limp body. Looking around, you neared him. Suddenly, you spotted a large rock coming his way. Kicking your horses sides, you bolted towards the red haired man and grabbed onto his collar, lifting him out of harms way. This unfortunately led to you being hit, and your right side was being held down by the stone.

The Beast Titan suddenly collapsed, making the ground shake. Luckily this caused the bolder to roll off your side, revealing your crushed leg. Your arm was still covered by the rock, but you were thankful that at least some of you was released.

"Take my horse and go!" You shouted to the red haired boy. He slowly lifted himself to his feet, his body was aching.

"Yes captain! I, Floch will go and find the commander!" He replied, hopping onto your horse and started to look around.

A smile appeared on your face, knowing that the boy would hopefully find Erwin. Is it time to die now? Is this really my time? I mean, at least all the pain would be gone right, if I just lay here. You shook your heavy head at those thoughts. What am I thinking? I am so much stronger than that! Plus, I still have to save the others.

You took your weak legs and started to shove the boulder off your arm. This ended in success, and you got to your feet. Happily, you saw the red haired boy racing forward on your horse with what looked like another body. A smile crept along your face, giving you the hope and strength that you needed to go forward. This energy allowed you to make it to the wall, and use your ODM gear to climb up.

Once you landed on top you saw a disgraceful, heart wrenching site...
