A/N: Hello! How are you doing? I hope you enjoy this chapter. It took me a long time to update than expected.

Masako and John arrived even before Mai woke up. The doll-like medium couldn't see most of the ghosts but she can feel their presences and locations. She had also identified the spirit of the late student, Tomoaki Sakauchi-san. Mai listened to the events summarize by Naru as she brushed her newly dried hair. She had gotten a scolding for waking up late and dilly-dallying and she couldn't retort or tease her boss as usual since it is really her fault.

"Last night, what did you saw?"

Mai, who is avoiding the topic stiffened as Naru dropped the bomb and passing the hot potato to her. And judging from the looks the other members are throwing her, Yasu must've noticed her strange behaviour before she passed out and told it to the others.

"What did I saw? I can't seem to understand what you are talking about?" Mai tried to dodge as she tried her erratic heartbeat with all her best but her plan of escaping was cut short when Lin showed her a footage caught by the camera she and Yasu had set before collapsing.

"So, any plans of telling us now?" Naru asked coldly as he glared at her. Mai sighed in defeat and thought of a way to keep what she plans to keep.

"Okay! Okay! I did saw something last night but I originally wasn't planning to tell you since I myself couldn't believe it!" Mai acted calm and scratched her head, acting annoyed and frustrated.

"What is it?"

"A boy. He is wearing a uniform. Average looking; black hair, black eyes and has freckles on his face. I have felt a presence behind and saw him standing by the door." Mai described what she saw and organized her things, looking so composed as the others stare at her.

"I understand. But Mai...."

"Yeah?"

"You must remember that every single thing that you noticed, whether it's suspicious or not can be used as an information in this kind of industry. Do not hesitate to tell even if you think it's impossible to happen." Naru reminded her with a cold glare.

"Yeah. He is right, Mai. You are not working with the police anymore. You are in a paranormal research center. Things like ghosts and supernatural activities are a norm in this kind of field. You didn't see any ghosts in our last case in your school but they really exists." Bou-san explained and played with her combed hair.

Phew. They didn't noticed.

"I understand. I had read so many books about this before but it's different experiencing it in a first person perspective. I apologize!" Mai smiled apologetically and nodded at them.

"Hmm. I guess it is your first time seeing a ghost, are you scared?" Ayako mocked or teased her but Mai just smiled at her and shook her head.

"No! Serial killers are more scarier! I should introduce you to one!" Mai countered making Ayako shiver at her response.

"No thanks. I don't plan on visiting the jail all my life!" Ayako rebutted as she sip her soda.

"But who is that boy?" Mai asked them despite knowing who he is. Asking makes her less suspicious.

"He is the one who died last year, Tomoaki Sakauchi-san." Yasuhara answered her showing her a picture. Her description is similar— no, the same as the young man in the picture. Mai acting a bit surprised and nodded at them.

She then began to think of what she has dreamed off last night. Those black lights are devouring other spirits and are getting more bigger and bigger. They are also very dangerous. She also met Tomoaki Sakauchi-san last night and by the way he is acting, Mai is a hundred percent sure that he is connected to this case— to be more exact, Mai thinks that Tomoaki Sakauchi-san is the one who caused this to happen.
