What Mai cannot handle is child abuse. She had no problem dealing with smugglers, murderers nor thieves but she cannot handle this kind of abuse. She hates it more than anything.

She met Michiru when she was sexually abused by a stranger. Her friend was just a 13 years old student back then. Mai was passing by the neighborhood when she heard faint voice calling for help from a small alley. It was so small and couldn't be heard by normal people but Mai who was trained in the military, clearly heard it due to her heightened senses.

She saved her and beat that scum to the pulp. Mai even called the police and arrested the man. Michiru was very afraid to testify at first but seeing the confident look on Mai's face and the support from her parents, she bravely testify and the man was sent to prison.

Michiru was depressed but Mai was there to help her and her middle school friend, Keiko was there too. That is how the three began to get close to each other. Michiru improves but she still had a bit of trauma. She likes ghost stories but she can't handle news about sexual abuse or anything related to what happened to her. Mai and Keiko was there to protect her and be with her at all times.

In fact, even having a job at SPR, Mai didn't forget to check out her friends and hang out with them from time to time. The two were even delighted to have Kuruda-san after getting to know her better. Mai was glad that her friends are doing well.

But faced with this situation in front of her, she couldn't help but to explode. Recording every testimony of all the students she interviewed, she packed up and hurriedly went to the house of a decreased student.

Meanwhile, at the base, the others who just freshen up were shocked at what Naru and Yasu  said to them. They couldn't believe that they had solved the case while they were sleeping.

"Why target Matsuyama-sensei? Don't tell me he was ridiculed and humiliated by that teacher?"

"Yes. Sakauchi-san has an average grades and the school isn't satisfied with that. He is distracted in class because he is busy reading books about magic and ghost hunting. Out of all people who ridiculed him, Matsuyama-sensei was the one who treated him the worst." Yasu answered Bou-san who asked the question. His face is showing emotions of sadness and distress.

"So what do we do now?" Ayako asked their boss but before Naru answered, the door of the base suddenly opened and a rude middle-aged man entered while wearing a mocking smile, face brimming with contempt.

"The principal had asked for your report, Shibuya. He wanted to know why the whole floor collapse and how the poisonous gas came about!"

The people on the room glared at the newcomer while he arrogantly took a chair and sit. He didn't forget to cross his legs like he owned the place. Bou-san was suddenly grateful that Mai isn't here or else, she and this teacher would exchange barbs as soon as the teacher entered.

"Right on time. Matsuyama-sensei, I have something to discuss with you." Naru was the first to speak as he sit on his chair while having the tea that Yasu made.
